Blob brush not reverting from Brush using keyboard shortcut
When switching between custom keyboard shortcuts from the Brush to the Blob Brush, the shape stays the same and doesn't respond to tablet pen pressure sensitivity.

Lauren, the shape of the brush tip when switching from a Brush to Blob Brush and vise versa should stay the same, this is an intentional behavior, as far as I know — they share the same brush tip. And to have the pressure sensitivity work, you should check if it is enabled for the tip.
Create a new brush first in the Brushes panel, because the one you get when pick the tool by default is not a real preset we can change. Click New ('plus') button t the bottom of the panel, choose 'Calligraphic Brush', make sure you have Size set to Pressure (and not Fixed) and the Variation set to something other than zero. A thumbnail above will show you the minimum tip’s size at the left, an average in the middle, and the maximum at the right.
Now switching to Blob Brush tool will use this tip, and not the 'Touch Calligraphic Brush' which seems to ignore pressure.
