Dimension line gets shifted when multiple dimensions are selected with Shift held
When holding down the Shift key to select multiple dimensions, the one clicked will move once with each click

Right, this was already reported...
This happens only if the dedicated tool is used and the text is clicked — instead of selecting, the tool treats Shift-click as an attempt to reposition a dimension, and it gets moved so that the dimension line is placed to a position of the click.
Indeed, if a Selection Tool is used instead, it gets selected fine — and that’s what should be used, since Dimension tool does not select anything, it modifies and creates ...but since other tools, like Rectangle or Ellipse don’t modify corresponding shapes, I bet users will still expect to be able to select with it anyway. -

The alignment grid has not been opened, and this issue exists in both 28.6 and 29.0.
PS: When making multiple selections, it is the dimension tool, not the selection tool. Using the selection tool+shift, multiple selections can be made normally. -
It is the most recent build from CCD, correct?
Do you have Snap to Grid enabled?
Does it differ when you disable it?
