Blob Brush tool not functioning - making smaller shapes than I’ve drawn and nowhere near the right shape
I'm trying to draw with the blob brush tool - its not creating anything close to what I’m drawing if at all, sometimes it just does a single dot. it's also been extra laggy of late - taking full seconds to register I’ve moved the mouse.

Meghan, unfortunately, it’s hard to tell what goes wrong by looking at these screenshots.
Am I correct guessing that instead of a irregular shape of the scale you get a much smaller one, almost perfectly elliptical?
Alas, does not happen to me...What exact version of the app are you using? Did you install the latest 29.0.1 hotfix that addresses some problems with Pencil and other tools?
What Fidelity do you have picked in Blob Rush Tool Options dialog (press Enter to open it when the tool is picked or double-click the tool icon)?
How large is the shape you are trying to draw, in units of your choice? Does it behave anything better if you try to draw a larger shape?
