Cursor Moving on its own After Creating Clipping Mask
Often after I create a clipping mask the cursor will, on its own, slowly begin moving across the screen. I can see it flickering with each step. If I hit escape it will stop the cursor and return to normal. M1 iMac Sequoia 15.3, Illustrator 22.9.1.
This problem has happened to me in the past in previous versions, I can't recreate it when I undo and remake the clipping mask.

I use right click to make Clipping Masks. I can't reproduce it right now (of course), but often it will happen repeatedly after making different clipping masks in the same file. I usually have tons of apps open at the same time, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Chrome... Next time I come across it I'll get a screen capture video and try to close some apps.

Wow, I’d like to see this on video.
Nick, what method do you use to create a mask? The top menu command? Picking from the context menu? a hotkey?
Can you replicate this each time you try it from the scratch? Do you have other apps launched? Can you try to exit everything else to see if it gets influence by something else?
