Just another thought, it would be nice to edit a swatch within the library, so all my documents has the updated colour.

This is just a screen shot of what happens on my side. I just opened a blank document and want to add my colour swatch theme to my swatches and it makes an empty folder and pink swatch. I tested swatches in other libraries and same happens. This happens in Beta version too.

What was the original source of the color theme you try to import?
Can you share it somehow? -
Please provide a test file with the color group you are trying to add to a library, so the team can try to reproduce it (only swatches, artwork on canvas isn’t required).

I also tested with Beta and it’s not working. I have latest versions of both. -
Inge, some work was done with this in the latest Beta.
Could you try to test it with Illustrator Beta and comment back, please?
