ESC key not exiting text editing and isolation modes in Illustrator 2025 on macOS and PC
On macOS (latest version), ESC key does not exit text editing mode in Illustrator 2025 as it used to in previous versions.
Resetting preferences and keyboard shortcuts does not fix it. I created a new action to perform the exit task temporarily.
Expected behavior: ESC should exit text mode.

Does Escape work for you to exit Artboard mode? Isolation mode? Rotate View? editing a pattern or symbol?

Now ESC key doesn't let me escape from text typing mode, isolate mode, and artboard editing mode. Please fix it

ESC out of a text box or object is no longer working. Seriously frustrating and disrupting workflow! please fix asap.

Escape doesn't exit Type tool and change to Selection tool anymore.
Very disturbing.
