"Pattern Options" window keeps closing
Bug. "Pattern Options" window/tab always closes itself after I'm done editing a pattern. See attached video.

Thanks for the reply! I appreciate the note about double-clicking a pattern to more quickly edit it, that certainly helps. But yes, the panel closing itself after a pattern is edited (after I explicitly added it in Window > Pattern Options) sure feels like a bug to me, or at least just a poor experience. Just because I clicked 'Done' doesn't mean I'm done editing it, I just need to see how it fills in my actual element and often need to go back and edit it again several times. If the Gradient panel closed after editing a gradient it would be just as frustrating.

Justin, indeed. Pattern Options is one panel that is bound to a specific mode. It gets automatically opened when you try to edit a pattern (a double-clicn on a pattern swatch is a faster way to enter editing)... and gets closed automatically when one exits the mode — and docking it won’t make it stick (and it’s actually controversial if it should do it when docked). I think there could be a separate option to pin it... or unpin.
Giving the fact you don’t need to have it opened at all before editing a pattern — do you still see it as a bug that breaks the workflow?
