GPU rendering & mouse with indents (stepping) scroll wheel = blurry graphics
When scrolling with a scroll wheel that has indents, the GPU rendering causes blurry graphics at the beginning of the newly rendered pars that come into the workspace. See attachment.
It takes half a second to render that portion of the screen in normal quality on a Mac Studio Max! This machine should render fast enough to see no blurry parts. (120fps games as an example!)
I suspect Ai 29.8.2 to have a render engine problem. It’s just too slow. Other apps like Figma, Affinity Designer render the same documents 100x faster.

Mac Studio Max, 64 GB Ram, Mac OS Tahoe, Ai 29.8.2. GPU rendering ON, Realtime editing ON or OFF (no difference). If GPU rendering is off, there’s no lag! So, software rendering is faster than GPU! This must be an issue.

The taller the document is, the laggier the render engine is. This example shows how the portion of the screen that is coming into the frame is low-res.
My idea: The scroll wheel with indents does not advance small portions, but larger chunks. These cannot be rendered in time, so you see the low-res version for too long.

Can you share the full specs of your system, please?
Having an actual video recorded would be very helpful too.
Does it happen with any file at all?
