Exported EMF file gets corrupted

Illustrator (desktop version) version
Windows 11 Pro 24H2 Illustrator 2025 Ver. 29.8.2

  1. Export EMF file
  2. Open the exported EMF file

Expected result: the file opens

Actual result: a message appears stating the file is corrupted when attempting to open it.

    Thanks for the feedback. It's resolved.
    The anchor was outside the artboard, which was causing the size to grow unnecessarily.

    What application is assigned to view EMF files in your system? What app tries go get launched when you double-click the exported EMF?
    I tried several viewers I have installed, no problems, they all can view it...
    Can you reproduce the problem with ANY document at all, including a simplest one created from scratch?
