Same here, I got a high end PC, RTX4090 graphics card and I work with Illustrator daily for years. I haven't had this many crashes in forever. The files I am working on are the same type of files I worked with in earlier versions, which didn't make them crash. Not sure what's going on here, but this is not normal and extremely frustrating to work with.

Are you on latest version (2026)?

Now, when you are done with insults, please tell more about the circumstances.
Did it start only with the latest release? for any file or specific files only? with a specific operation? does file recovery fire up when you launch it back?
I see you are upset (oh trust me, I do know what it is), but the team won’t be able to review anything, except for beeped out curses.
