Stroke weights ing symbols change to random sizes
When working with dynamic symbols, the stroke weight changes to random sizes from extremely thin almost non-existent to 1000pt - sometimes affecting a select few instances of the symbol and sometimes affecting all. This happens sometimes when saving the file and reopening, when changing fill colours of instances, when editing the original symbol (double clicking onto a symbol and clicking out), when duplicating an instance.

Can you try to isolate the problem into a test file and provide the exact chain of steps to follow to reproduce it, please?
What options do you have enabled/disabled when this happens? Use Preview Bounds? Scale Strokes & Effects?
