The issue of selecting tools to move lines
In Illustrator, when I select a line and try to move it, the selection is always lost, forcing me to repeatedly select and move it again. This makes the task difficult for me.

I don’t think I get it... I see the line in the screenshot is missing both the bounding box (but it could have been disabled with Ctrl+Shift+B or View > Show/Hide Bounding Box command), but also the anchor points are not displayed, and only the edge line is visible.
Are you sill able to move it when you click and drag it precisely with the Selection tool picked, or does Ai fail to register it?
Do you see this for lines only? horizontal lines only? Does toggling the bounding box do anything?
When did you start noticing this?
