Revert text on paths back to how it used to be
Fitting text to paths used to be a simple process whereby you could easily create a path from a shape, by slicing the object and creating an open ended path, (or draw one), selecting Text to path from the pull out menu on the text tool, typing and arranging text on the path and being able to adjust whether it was to appear on the top or bottom of the path, just by dragging the centre line. (All without having to go to multiple other menus/instruction boxes). I would suggest it wasn't broken, so why was it 'fixed'?

You used to be able to place, flip and move text within the workspace without having to use other windows as I recall. It works, but it just seems to have been over-complicated to what it used to be. Also the point you select, (in order to manipulate the text is now extremely small). I admit that it is not something that I have used for some time, but I found it incredibly frustrating to see just how much it had altered.

Maxine, do you mean it doesn’t work for you like this? Can you show what happens when you try?
I try it and it just work as it should.
