Saving AI to EPS, different outcome when opened in photoshop

Sonoma 14.8.7
Illustrator 30.6
I saved a multi spread AI document as single pdf files. Each spread contains one specific number.
I open one eps-file in illustrator the expected number (50) appears.
I open the same eps-file in photoshop a different number appears.

This might relate to an old and disgusting bug with duplicating/missing artboard:
https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/39220252
Please check your Artboards panel. Usually this problem disappears after relaunching Ai though.
