Typing a new font size for a dimension in Properties moves the text caret at the first position after entering the first digit
After annotating the graphic dimensions, when changing the annotation font size, focusing the input box and entering 50 results in the number 05, which is incorrect.

Changing the font size control panel alone is fine; only the font size and line thickness settings for dimensions are problematic.

It has been discovered that there are issues with the size of the font and the thickness of the lines.

I see. The Properties panels seem to drop your text caret position after the first digit is typed, probably when updating the object on canvas.
Not sure it happens form me. Can you please test if the Control panel has the same problem when you change the font size there?
Do both panel do a similar thing when you try to change other parameters, or is it the dimension font size only? -

This is the operation video.

It feels like an issue related to your previous report:
Dimensions of newly created objects have numerous decimal places and don’t get adjusted afterwards
https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/50356785Still not reproducible for me. Can you please share a video?
