Can’t close shapes with Pen tool

When using the Pen tool and creating a shape, it doesn't want to close the creation. I have to deselect the item, then reselect it from a different plot point, so I can complete it.

Alfonso, can you record a small video of this behavior? Can’t reproduce it for now.
What snaps do you have enabled when you try to close a path?
