Pasting text appears centered even if current text box is left aligned
When i copy paste text from another app and paste it in illustrator it automatcly appears centered even if the current text box had left aligned text.

The same. the text appears centered. It only erases formating when i create a new text box and paste it. that way it appears correctly.

What happens if you try to Paste Without Formatting (Ctrl + Alt + V)? -
Im copying text from adobe pdf coments, and pasting in illustrator. If i open a new text box in illustrator and paste the text it appears correct, but if i paste the text in a previously created text box that is already aligned left the text automatcly assumes centered. Its ok i can work around just though of giving you a heads ups thats this happens.

Please tell more: what app are you copying from? can you reproduce it with a different document / page / text from the same app, and/or new document in Illustrator?
