Links showing up when image is placed but not when file is opened
- macOS Sierra 10.12.6 and Illustrator 23.0.1 (and previously 23.0.0).
I've opened a client supplied illustrator pdf and it shows that all the links are missing. When I place that same file into a new artboard (instead of using file>open) it has all the links embedded and high resolution. I have restarted and updated illustrator with no change.

Illustrator will not let me align my art manually
I am working a normal piece(s) of art. I did one exactly like this yesterday on the same artboards, different client. I am unable to manually align the art to the artboard or the bleed guides as shown first image. I decided to shutdown Illustrator and the PC and then start them again. When opened I tried to move the art again and it still will not let me align the art. I disposed of the art on the artboard. Asset Export Undo Deletion
If I delete an asset from the Asset Export Panel, I cannot "undo" to bring it back. I would like to be able to do this in the same way as undoing to restore swatches, layers etc.

When drag-copying an artboard, the original artboard remains selected.
When drag-copying an artboard, the new artboard should get selected and the original artboard become deselected.

Guides preventing "Delete Empty Artboard"
- Mac OS 10.12.6
- Delete art from artboards try to delete empty artboard
- Expect empty artboards to be deleted
- Nothing
If I delete guides that cross those empty artboards, artbaords can be deleted.

Place Jumbling Points on Artwork
MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 Illustrator 22.1
I was working on an ad and placed the logo of the company and part of the logo looked strange. Turns out it is jumbling random points on random outlines of the logo.

Illustrator CC 2018 (Mac)
I am using Illustrator CC 2018 (Mac). For some reason, the program crashes frequently when I am opening .AI document.
Any ideas on what is going on? I really need to fix this before next Friday. Thanks.1 vote -
artboard size problem
Artboard and this rectangle are supposedly the same size but they do not match at all. I am trying to create A1 file sizes for print and they are incorrect because of this bug or whatever it is. This is messing with my files and I am so tired of things not working for print because they aren't the correct size.

Not able to resize or draw.
I have created a new document but when i do Ctrl+0, it shows resized percentage but actual document does not resize. Even when drawing nothing shows up. But when i am closing the document, it shows everyting.

can't close document
- In version 22.1 I can't close document window by double-clicking title bar like earlier versions.
- I am Illustrator user since 1987 and I really don't want to deal with this new feature.

Selecting hidden guides by mistake
This is difficult to explain, so I'll just go through some steps:
Create some horizontal guides. Make sure they aren't locked.
Now hide guides, you don't want to be bothered with them while you're working on some objects in a different column.
Add some circles or something. They need to overlap where you drew the guides originally.
Drag select over your circles and distribute them on center.It took me a while to figure this one out. searching for it was no help.

secondary view moves when editing text
OSX 10.13.5, Illustrator 22.1.
When I have two windows open on the same document and start editing text, the inactive window will recenter its view on wherever my text cursor is.
Reproduction:
- Open a new document
- Draw something off on the side of it
- Zoom in on this thing
- view>new window
- arrange both windows so you can see them at once
- recenter the new window far away from the thing you drew in step 2
- in the window that's not showing the thing you drew in step 2 make a new text box, or create a new point type object

illustrator jagged line
line and text look jagged and I tried all the settings change by researching in the internet, but nothing fixed it. this problem is persisting for the last two days.

AI can't open file
Using Windows 7 professional. Have AI 2015. Problem recently started occuring. I would save a file then go back in and try to open it and a box shows up saying it can't be opened. Would try to open another file and the screen would turn white with a time wheel. It would say AI has to close. Windows would contact if a solution was available. No solution!

Rearrange All Artboards does not move artwork with it when spacing is adjusted
OS X / Adobe CC 2018 (OS X is where this document ran into this issue, but if it helps troubleshoot, it is being passed back and forth between a Windows 10 machine).
I have a document with multiple artboards. I needed to increase the spacing between them. I went to Rearrange All Artboards where "Move Art with Artboard" was already selected from multiple previous re-arrangings. I changed the spacing from 20px to 60px.
I expected the artboards to have the new spacing, with art in the same location.
