1. Align Not Working when a hidden guide is within a group

   Found the solution to the problem.
   Search carefuly what you have grouped together. If you have a guide grouped in your object then it wont aling. Find the guide and ungroup it from your object.

2. Align to key object doesn't work properly

   Mac Studio 2022 Apple M1 Max - 64Gb memory
   Mac OS Sequoia 15.1
   Illustrator (Middle East) 29.2.1

   Alignment to key object SOMETIMES doesn't work as expected. I cannot figure out which are the specific cases.
   When dealing with text boxes there is no difference between Roman Hanging punctuation ON or OFF.
   I numbered the screenshots according to the issue.

   1. TWO TEXT BOXES:
      I'm right aligning my text box to another text box. It right-aligns it to the right border of the selected text box with small margin (in this case 0,26mm). The right border of the text box is shifted 0,26mm to the left of the right border of the key text box.

   2. TEXT BOX AND (RECTANGULAR) SHAPE:
      My key object is the rectangular shape. Illustrator right-aligns my text box to the right end of the rectangular shape with a small margin (in this case 0,47mm). The right border of the text box is shifted 0,47mm to the left of the right end of the key rectangular shape.

   3. TWO SHAPES (one of them has no fill and a centered stroke)
      I'm right aligning a filled square to a rectangle that has a centered-stroke (key). It aligns it to the outer border of the box and not to the path.

   4. TEXT BOX AND HORIZONTAL LINE:
      I'm right aligning my text box to a line. It right-aligns it to the right end of the line with a small margin (in this case 0,52mm). The right border of the text box is shifted 0,52mm to the left of the right end of the line.

   5. TWO SHAPES (a centered-stroke line and a centred-stroke rectangle)
      I'm right aligning a line to a centered-stroke rectangle. It aligns the line to the outer border of the box and not to the path.

3. Object Transform / Arrange unavailable after editing Graph values

   Illustrator 28.6 on Mac Ventura 13.5.2 (but this has been going on for several version of Illustrator)

   Every time I edit the values of a Graph (pie chart), the Transform and Arrange menus (in Object) are greyed out and I can't use them (nor the Transform Again) unless I first click on the Object menu.

   This is slightly annoying (most of the time I don't realize the transformation hasn't been done until much later and I have to move things again).

6. Align to artboard can't change to Align selected objects

   The default Align Artboard button cannot be changed to Align selected objects.
   The version I am using is 28.0, mac system. I can't perform the point alignment operation, it will automatically perform the 'Align Artboard' function. 'Align' is a frequently used feature, so please fix it as soon as possible. Thanks

7. Align on a selection not working - Illustrator 27.3.1

   When selecting the 2 points of a line, the "align to a selection" is not available.
   However, it worked yesterday, before upgrading to 27.3.1.
   What I want to do is select the first point of the line, then the second, and when I click "align horizontally to center", the first point should align with the second.
   Instead of that, the entire line is centered on the artboard.

8. Align text to Artboard

   When I Select text "Arabic or English" and align it to Artboard center , The alignment move to the right of the center. it just happen to Text and more obvious to Arabic text.

    Most probably it happens because of the Align to Pixel Grid option switched on, as per comments. Try to disable it and see if it changes anything.

11. Non-proper alignments

    This has been an ongoing issue since CS first began. Never had a problem with the old 10 or lower. If you grab a node from an object and move it say, to latch on to nearest node or object, it almost always picks some random and sometimes distant node or object, including itself (shown here). Should it not latch to nearest node? In order to properly latch, you have to pull out a guideline and place it where you want it to go, in order for it to recognize where to latch.

    Like clockwork. Adobe Upgrades keep disabling USER Align To Preferences.

    If this problem is still an issue for you, please provide some test files and a video demonstrating the workflow steps.

    When aligning or distributing multiple elements, they are not aligning as they should be, there is a bug and these functions are not working normally since the last update.

15. Align To mode gets changed from Align To Artboard to other modes on its own

    Over the past several Major updates to Illustrator, the Align to function's Default setting keeps getting changed. I prefer to have control over that. As all past versions of Illustrator have allowed. For me: Align to Artboard.

    With the last version capable of running on HIGH SIERRA it was BROKEN AGAIN !!!!

    Adobe's response is to buy a new computer.

    My feeling is Adobe should FIX that last High Sierra version.

    In the middle of a Pandemic/Economic uncertainty, this is not the time to screw customers.

16. Issue with align to key object tool moving objects off the workspace not by the selected distance

17. Can’t align all objects within group

    Hello,
    I've seen that this is claimed that it is fixed on a previous update, but I have the latest (24.2.3) and still have issues.

    Situation:
    4 text layers in a 2nd level subgroup
    Selection of three out of four layers and the Align/Distribute is working as expected (align to Selection selected)
    Selection of all four layers (or group layer) and the Tool isn't working on 'Align to Selection' basis. It's working correctly as 'Align to Artboard'

    How am I supposed to align all layers in a Group? The only workaround is to align all layers but one and then align the remaining layer alone..

    In Align I find when try to divide something evenly it become one, then try to get a point to align with each other it shot of the page.

19. Objects don’t align properly to artboards with guides placed on canvas

    While guides have been placed in artboard objects will no longer align to artboard rather they extend far beyond the current artboard.

    At the moment the only solution I've found to work is clearing the guides.
