3. Cannot view 150% zoom level

   1. Illustrator CC 20.1 (64-bit); Windows 10-64
   2. Trying to zoom to 150% by selecting the preset option from the zoom drop-down menu, or using Ctrl++
   3. Expected result: document is shown at 150% zoom (actual size due to DPI scaling issues)
   4. Actual result: zoom preset goes to 200% and document is shown at 200%. This only happens with this document and not others; it contains both vector and raster data. For some reason I can zoom at every other preset except 150% (true actual size)

4. Tabs captions are missing, Home screen is visible through the hole

   Above the top ruler I should be able to see a tab, or multiple tabs when several files are open. However all that is shown is a cropped "Ai" ident. This means the only way I can flick between files is by through "Window" in the top panel.

5. Keyboard Increments in preferences doesn't work.

   I set my Keyboard Increment to .0139 and anchor points move correctly. Then I change it to .00139, which has alway worked in the past, it now jumps about 10X the correct distance. I restarted. No change. I uninstalled, then reinstalled. No change. I restarted my computer. No change. I can't work with it like this. How do I get this fixed?

6. Problems with text, bounding box, selections, scaling and more

   Hello, I’ve been having a problem with Illustrator for now a week. The version I am working with is 22.1 and I am working on a MacBook Pro 15in 2017 with Sierra 10.13.5, Processor: 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7, Memory: 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3, Graphics: Radeon Pro 560 4096 MB and Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB,

   I noticed that the problem always starts showing up when I am working with text, especially when changing the tracking of the text. The problem shows up after usually a couple hours of work and it “resets” when restarting the application or the machine. It doesn’t happen with mathematical precision, sometimes it takes 5 minutes to show up, other times it takes a few hours, but since last week every time I worked on Illustrator this problem showed up sooner or later. It also seems to get worse and worse with time. At the beginning it was a subtle glitch of the text that I could resolve with restarting the machine or the application, but now it happens more and more frequently and restarting is not helpful anymore. This problem appears with ALL my files and also when creating a new file.

   What happens:
   Let's say I have some text that is 72pt and with tracking 0 in red and other shapes and text boxes around it in the artboard.
   1- I select the text box mentioned before
   2 - I make the tracking 200 in the character panel
   3 - At this point the text gets back to the previous size and colors, so for example the initial size 12pt and black. Instead of being 72pt with tracking 200 in red.
   4- Then from there the problem degenerates and develops in problems with bounding box, selections and it becomes impossible to work. Following I list all kind of problems I encounter after the problem shows up:
   - The text becomes impossible to control because every time I would make a change it would change back to a previous style
   - The bounding box disappears, or behaves weirdly for example not following the object or text if I move it
   - Selections happen randomly, so for example I select an object and some text gets selected too
   - Objects randomly move and repeat movements and changes in a way that seems to mimic the CMD+Z
   - Guidelines (the pink snapping ones) are completely random and stays active even when deselecting an object

   I am uploading a video where you can see me trying to move the blue line on the right. You can definitely see that the bounding box and selections behave crazy. The text gets also selected and when trying to move the line the text goes back of a step (so changes position or rotation to the previous one). The line keeps moving back.
   I also showed the document on CMD+Y mode and you can see the bounding boxes are not showing.

   Also I noticed in the past days when working on my coworker computer (a desktop Mac with a different creative cloud installed - different account) that there are little glitches of the same problem starting there as well, so for example the text is doing the same thing when I change the tracking : the text changes size and gets to the previous step of work when trying to change tracking. It’s not even close to where my issue is at but I know it is starting to behave weird. I also read some other posts on this board with similar problems.

   I’ve been in contact with the Adobe Support for a week now and it doesn’t seem anything is wrong with my computer. I also reset completely my computer a couple days ago, deleting all memory and applications, but that didn’t help, the problem showed up after a few hours of work.

   If you can’t reproduce the problem I can gladly share with you my screen and show you. Also this is the list of things that the Support has tried to fix the problem:
   - Reset the preferences
   - Deleting all my Wacom drivers
   - Deactivating my Intel graphic card (I am still confused about this one - does it mean now I am not using my computer at its maximum power? Can I activate it again?)
   - More changes to app folders and similar…

   Please can you help me solving this issue? It is not only annoying and frustrating, but it makes it impossible to work and it is damaging my ability to be professional.

7. Adobe Color Themes panel becomes blank and unresponsive

   The panel works as intended for a while, but after working for a while (20 min or so) -The Adobe Color Theme Panel becomes blank after trying to switch between "create" & "explore".

   Closing and restarting Illustrator 2018 fixes this, but that become s big pain to have to keep closing and re-opening all your files just to use the color theme tools.

   I'm not sure if it is caused by the webseach that happens with the "..." elipses dots, but sometimes it seems that it just doesn't find the color website and that is why it doesn't show anything. And once the panel is blanked out, there aren't any options to re connect with the color server. Closing the panel and reopening it doesn't fix this, and as mentioned before - only a quit, and reopening of illustrator does.

8. Intermittently, Illustrator does NOT save the file.

   Intermittently, when I save a file (using Ctrl-S or File > Save), the existing file is NOT saved. This has caused me to lose work.

   The Illustrator UI thinks that the file has been saved - the File > Save option is greyed out. When I look in the file's location on disk, the existing file shows an older file date and time; the last time it saved successfully. There is a new file with the expected date and time and the extension "t".

   I can do a "Save As" which works. I can make some trivial changes the the file, Save, and that usually does save the file correctly. But the failure to save normally still occurs about 25% of the time. It's been happening since I installed Illustrator.

   I am working with .SVG files in Illustrator 22.1 on Windows 10.

9. Adobe Illustrator is Changing the Colors Defined in My Swatches?

   I am trying to create a color swatch library that mages the Pantone color manage applications values... But I am noticing when I define a specific swatch and then reopen it the values are different then what I orginially entered.

11. Unselctable and undo glitch

    When I go to select a shape or text item sometimes the bounding box disappears. Even when I go to show bounding box (command + Shift + B) the issue isn't resolved. I don't do anything different and it seems to happen randomly. I have to restart illustrator to fix it but sometimes that doesn't.

    Once the bounding box disappears I cannot track the type and if I move an item it goes back to its org place.

    Additionally, when I hit undo rather than going back one action it will go back 4 or 5 actions. This only happens once I have the selection issue.

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled adobe with no luck. I have uninstalled and reinstalled high sierra 10.13.3 with no luck.

12. Text Formatting Bug

    Adobe Illustrator 22.1 (64-bit)

    Typing text within a single text box that requires different font styles formatting.

    While editing the text within the text box, in the last version (Illustrator 21), I could change up the font style of a font family and continue typing.

    But, in the updated version, if I change the font style (i.e. roman, bold, italic) I have to click back into the text box to continue typing. In addition, the change in formatting does not apply once clicked back into said text box. This requires me to type out whatever needs to be typed out and then go back and format the text accordingly. Very frustrating for workflow.

13. Artboard Tool button crashes Illustrator

    I'm trying to put this in the "Illustrator Bugs" category, but the button I have to click says "Post idea". Apologies if this is in the wrong area.

    Every time I click the artboard button Illustrator crashes.

    I'm using a 2017 iMac
    Illustrator version 22.0.1

    I've been having the same problem since the last time I updated Illustrator (several months). Doing research in the trouble shooting forum leads me to believe this has been a problem since October 2017.

    No one had posted a solution in the forum.

    I spent a while on Adobe's website searching for the appropriate phone number to call, then over an hour on the phone with a very nice tech support person. He was able to fix this problem by deleting the application settings. The whole day I was able to add artboards without the application crashing.

    However, the very next day the problem came back. Also, all of the settings I had to manually restore were gone again. So I'm stuck with the problem AND my settings were erased.

    I suppose deleting my personal settings again might make it work, but I really don't have time to screw around restoring my settings every day.

    This has been a known issue (according to the forums) since October 2017!

    5 months!

    What legitimate software company lets a major issue like this go unsolved for 5 months?

    I'm very unimpressed.

14. Slow doing anything.

    When I open the program, everything is going and moving fast, after awhile it gets really slow!
    I understand that it maybe after awhile the cache gets full and the program gets to operate slower but this is not the case here.
    With previous versions I didn't have to close and open the program in order for it to speed up. I would go for weeks not needing to close it. Right now in just couple of hours the program works from fast to being slow for no reason.

15. Issues with changing tint by typing in % value and hitting Return key

    Illustrator 2018 CC 22.0.1
    Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6

    As per video, after typing in a numerical value for a tint on a global colour in the Color Panel and hitting Return, the value defaults back to original value. In my video, it shows that it’s having issues with values of 50% and 100% but this occurs randomly and can happen with different tint values.

16. Arrow keys are not working since I updated to Illustrator 2018

    Was able to click the arrow key, up down or side one, since forever, and now the shapes, type objects, photos, etc... do not move. Clearly the arrow keys are not working... and only since I updated to 2018.

17. Custom Views, unlocking layers

    "Custom Views unlocking layers"
    Hi, I found something that I believe that wasn't supposed to work that way. I made a "Process" describing what's happening, but my point here is that I didn't expect the Views Feature to unlock layers, I thought it was only supposed to change the Zoom and view location.
    Process:
    1- Create a New view with everything unlocked
    2- Lock some Layers.
    3- Activate your view.

    Result: Everything gets unlocked

Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

18. as if the shift key is stuck (all functions and operations)

    After installing the new version, when in Illustrator, shift key has to be held down or things don't work. It's as if the shift key is pressed and I have to press it to release it, if you know what I mean. If I try to select a new tool and click it in the tool panel - nothing happens. If I hit the shift key and do the same again - works fine.

19. CC降存CS3工作區域不見

    自升級為CC2018後，將檔案降存為CS3版本後，再開啟CS3版的檔案時，原本的工作區域會只剩下工作區域1，其他都只剩工作區域參考線，這是以前未出現的問題。
    1)而後嘗試改回CC2017還是有一樣的問題。
    2)CC2018降存CS6並無此問題。

20. Type reverting & doing all sorts of weird things

    The new Illustrator's type feature behaves strangely. The font reverts to the 1 I chose previously when I do some things such as discard the Offset Path setting I've set for it it in the Appearance Panel.
