Asset Export PNG cannot export more than some resolution
In versions 29.4 and 29.5, PNG cannot be exported starting from a certain height/width size

Collapsed panels won't open when clicked!
I keep some panels permanently expanded (eg. Character, Paragraph, Pathfinder/Align/Transform) with other ones like Transparency, Swatches etc. collapsed and tacked to the sides (see screenshot). When using 28.7.1, none of the collapsed panels will expand or respond to clicking any part of the panel. The only way I can expand them is to manually go into the Window drop down and click the name of the panel I need to expand.

An action to open an existing document fails to run with a hotkey assigned if no documents are opened
An action to open a specific local document with F3 shortcut or any other F-key assigned fails to run it does not work when no files are open.
Runs fine when run with the Play Current Selection button, only the key is ignored. Also works if there is a new file or an existing document present.
This problem has been going on since AI 21.

Pattern Mode Layer Highlight Bug
In the Pattern Options panel menu flyout, the option Tile Edge Color... will change both the tile edge and also the layer highlight color, so designers can choose a color that is visible against their art (like everywhere else in Illustrator). It's become sticky and buggy; sometimes it changes, and sometimes it doesn't.

Wireframes went wild
hello all. this is what I have encountered as a problem with wireframes expansion. Complex shape ended up with bunch of paths, its the outline mode btw, no stroke there what so ever

Clarification of Online Icon
The lower-right cloud icon is supposed to show that a user is online or that the document is a cloud document? It’s not obvious. Also, it requires hovering over the icon to reveal the state. Is that on purpose? It feels like the purpose of this function could be made more clear.

This is my first time trying out the collaboration/share feature. Notice how the filename in the initial focused state is unreadable. The text color needs reversed.

The Control bar fill and stroke color option is broken again
The Control bar fill and stroke color option is broken again. The color is changing incorrectly when I select a swatch color or when I am trying to enter values in the color mixer. Also it is changing the color mode incorrectly in the color mixer when starting to enter values, for example when I start entering RGB values it changes the values to CMYK even though the document is RGB. There are many more problems that are adding up. The more Illustrator is trying to create new features the more it is becoming unusable.

Artboard reference point bug
No matter where the reference point is set (see screenshot), when resizing the artboard Illustrator acts as if it was in the bottom left corner. It started in previous version and persists in v30. In a document with one artboard it's annoying, in a document with 40 artboards it makes work impossible.

Smart guides not working
Operating System: macOS 15.6 (Apple M4 pro), Adobe Illustrator Beta version 29.9
Smart Guides are turned on, View > Smart Guides is on, but not working
When moving or aligning objects, no smart guide lines appear.
Actual result: No smart guides show up at all.
Additional information:
I have tried everything:
Reset Illustrator Preferences
Enabled/ disabled GPU Performance
Reinstalled Illustrator
Restarted Mac

The initial pivot for a Point Type text when Scale tool is picked is wrong
In the latest Beta 29.5.0.35 the default position of the pivot point for a Point Type text is not at its anchor point anymore, but at its center. This used to work fine just recently.
While this behavior CAN be an option for the Scale tool, it should not be hidden and given as a default one.
But I’d appreciate having it in the dialog when a text is selected.3 votesThe team has retracted the change they made to allow point type to behave like an object and snap by glyph bounds, like an area type would, and the pivot is now get placed at the type’s point again.
