This issue was reintroduced in MacOS update Ventura. The team ran into another issue while implementing the workaround suggested by Apple. While the team revisits this issue, users can use workaround this issues by paste through context menu. Thank you all for the patience.

An error occurred while saving the comment Ariel Crossan commentedThis issue is still present for our team using Illustrator 25.2.1 on macOS Monterey 12.2.1. Specifically, we are running into lag when trying to use the blob brush with the rulers turned on. Turning the rulers off returns the brush speed to normal.

An error occurred while saving the comment Ariel Crossan commentedMy team was experiencing this same issue and found that it was due to a missing DataRecovery folder in the following location: HomeFolder/Library/Preferences
Once we manually added this directory, all new documents created did not get the "We're unable to save your file for auto-backup..." or "Data recovery is disabled for this document due to an error in recovery process in last session..." error messages.
The "Data recovery is disabled for this document due to an error in recovery process in last session..." error message does persist in any files saved before manually building the DataRecovery directory. Deleting and resaving them removes this error message.
When tested on a fresh installation of Illustrator, the DataRecovery directory was present after the Illustrator install but was being removed during the installation of some of our custom preferences. Adding the directory back to our custom preferences fixed the issue.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.1.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Resource Fork in .ai files are removed in version 22.1. This is done to prevent an intermittent crash while saving Illustrator files to smb volume on macOS 10.13. Apple deprecated resource fork many years ago.
Following Apple document talks about deprecations that lead to removal of Resource From .ai files

This issue is probably happening because the artboard dimensions are not appropriate for raster export (i.e. are in decimals).
If you make x and y values as the whole numbers in the transform panel (not in decimal), then the extra pixels will not be added to the exported image. That is the workaround, and it’s reported that it’s not always the case.
At the same time — Ai knows the size of artboards to be exported and yet it does not deliver the set sizes, which is not fair. The team is going to rethink the algorithm.

An error occurred while saving the comment Ariel Crossan commentedHi Egor - yup, can confirm this behavior is possible on Mac in Illustrator versions up to 25.2.1. My team uses the shortcut combo frequently to clean up stray points in files.
Also wanted to clarify that the combination of Shift and Space held together isn't increasing the actual speed of of the panning. Rather it is inherently a quicker workflow to be able to continually hold down the shift key while manually toggling between holding the space bar to pan and using the cursor to add points to the active selection (because shift is being held down). Having to release shift now to add to the selection is causing folks to accidentally lose their selection if they don't repress shift after panning to the next location of the art file. While it is just a matter of muscle memory and ergonomics, it seems like an unequal trade off for a rotate canvas shortcut that could be assigned elsewhere.
