    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.1.0 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

    Julia, Illustrator’s rulers can be switched between global an local modes.

    Global Rulers assume artboards are objects placed on a common grid, and Artboard Rulers reposition 0,0 every times you switch between artboards.

    To switch, go to View > Rulers > Change to Global / Artboard rulers, or right-click the intersection of two rulers and choose the mode you need.

    Does it solve your problem?

    Can you share the file that has the text jumping?
    Please make a duplicate of the text, and outline it to track if the shift occurs.

    Also — are you sure you save in the latest version and not legacy formats?

    John, do you still have access to 25.4.1? Can you try to export the same asset from both versions and share both the original and the files resulted? Please also share the screenshot of the setting used (yeah, I see them as text, but just in case). This will help to investigate the issue.

    We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 23.0.2

    Arne, it does... but only if your layers’ name are unique and thus are compliant with standards of the web.
    Can you share a file that causes problems for you? Does it have unique layers’ names?

    To make it less a shouting (oh I know that feeling!), I’d like to have more information about your pain points in a productive manner. Please, share some more about what makes you feel like this? I have a list of my own (trust me, it’s huge), but I am interested in yours.
