An error occurred while saving the comment Elennie, there used to be a plugin called Mesh Utils by Stephen Vincent that was able to 'equilibrate mesh' — just like the first attachment shows. It never made into CC versions though.
Meanwhile, there is a free tool called Mesh Tormentor.
It does not directly provide the same function, but the result can still be achieved with it through several steps — like the second image demonstrates.
Colors seems more muddy because new anchors grab colors from 'below' them, which are intermediate. Are you interested?

An error occurred while saving the comment Jamie, if you use AstuteGraphics plugins, there is a command for that. You can also assign it to the same Shift+X hotkey.
If you are not using these, you can run a script I attach to this comment.
And yes — this should be a thing Ai has by default. Voted. -

An error occurred while saving the comment There is a script by Sergey Osokin that does exactly this:

Don’t mind the article is in Russian, the script is international. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge, if you need more basic shapes — I advise to to study DynamicShapes plugin for Ai from AstuteGraphics. It patches all the holes in Ai’s shapes.
And yes, I tried 3D transforms in Xd. I see what you mean. On-canvas controls AND direct control over values is a way to go.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge, do no treat Adobe as a 'same company' :)
Star — agree, this needs to be a 'live shape', just like polygon, ellipses and rectangles.
3D rotation — well, you have it already, Effects > 3D > Rotate. Not as a tool, but effectively the same.

An error occurred while saving the comment Ah, OK, a bit of misunderstanding. Then — SURE. This is how it should have been done initially. Of course, a user should be able to disable Tabs at all, as it is possible now.
An error occurred while saving the comment I vividly agree with every point you made except for the first one, about disappearing tabs.
What do you mean by this? Can you draw a picture to illustrate it? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Meanwhile you might want to check ColliderScribe plugin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDtqeMzDiwk
An error occurred while saving the comment Tautvydas, I agree that Ai should be able to to do it from the box, but if you desperately need it, try ColliderScribe by AstuteGraphics:
https://astutegraphics.com/plugins/colliderscribe
It does it brilliantly -

The feature is complete, but the team would like to hear how it works for you and what would you like to improve.

An error occurred while saving the comment The current method allows to show all swatches that fit search query.
Your example shows only one and ignores the second fitting color.
I agree that in most cases we search for the one Pantone color only when enter a value, but this search engine also works in every other swatch library, where ability to see all, say, 'gold' swatches (I can have a dozen of them) is indispensable.Nevertheless I think that an option to show a context for the found swatches should be added.
For example, if an option is checked, show only fitting results while the search field is in focus, but select all fitting and display a whole library again when Enter is hit? Sounds cumbersome...
Or maybe divide panel into sections and display each fitting result in its own section surrounded by neigbours? Yeah, not very useful when you only start to enter '1' — you’ll get a hundred of sections.
OK, maybe just display the one swatch in context, but add arrows to cycle between matching results, with the number of matches displayed near? Seems worth trying.
What does Rhonda think about that?

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.4.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!
An error occurred while saving the comment The added option (Trackpad Gesture to Rotate View) does NOT help to solve the unwanted rotation problem for Cintiq-type monitors.

Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

An error occurred while saving the comment The SOLUTION might be to open the Eyedropper Tool options and untick top checkmarks in both columns. Otherwise your picked style goes under the 'Contents' (check the Appearance stack if you are experiencing this), and is obstructed by it.
'Unticked Appearance mode' is a default one and it seems that Ai sometimes changes these options without a user knowing. I already saw several reports about this.
Please comment if this solves it for you. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Ramona, this is new. Please send the packaged file to sharewithai@adobe.com and record a short video demonstrating the glitch. Am I right thinking it happens in GPU mode only?

An error occurred while saving the comment You should provide a file, because this is most certain depends on its content.
The problem is well-known and there is a script that tries to workaround it and does it beautifully:
https://github.com/creold/ai-to-psd
Can’t recommend it enough.
The problem is very painful though, I call everyone to vote. Even Affinity Designer, an external app from a non-Adobe, handles this better, which is a shame.

An error occurred while saving the comment Interesting idea. Feels like a specialized task for a script or a plugin.

An error occurred while saving the comment Does it happen with every PSD document for any other AI document?
Can’t replicate it on Windows with 25.3.1Feels more like a bug report and should be moved in the different branch.
