Latest Beta Build 29.2.34 now adds Eyedropper in the Color Picker dialog to allow us pick colors from artwork.
Please try to test it and comment on if it works as you expect.

An error occurred while saving the comment Gabriel commentedI experience a similar outcome on a macbook pro m1 Max with Illustrator 26.4.1. External display is definitely duller when GPU rendering, with colors being more accurate on the CPU rendering.

It’s dangerous to call things Smart... When they behave dumb, the name sound like an insult. Sadly, this is the case.
Please provide more specific cases, with video proofs, ask you colleagues to share and vote, to move this further. This is the way to force changes to things that are broken — be vocal and persistent. Thank you all and let’s hope we get heard.

Background:
- CC libraries does not have support for Global Process Colors
- Some users have spoken about InDesign – InDesign does not support Global Process colors
- Illustrator does support process colors , global process colors and spot colors. The issue is specefic to global process colors – since it is not supported in CC Libraries. We have added the request to support in CC libraries backlog,
Workaround:
- Create Process colors in Illustrator and add it to CC libraries – deselect the global checkbox

@Ashutosh, could we please get an update as to wether steps are beign taken to correct this?
From a print oriented profile, I feel this is a major brake to getting users on board with libraries.Gabriel supported this idea · -

Please share your thoughts on the following:
1. Would it make sense to have a separate desktop app, just to create charts, and bring them inside Illustrator or InDesign? It may not be on cloud.
2. Or would you rather have us work on building it within Illustrator?
Thanks

Why or how this issue persists with little to no significant update from Adobe is absolutely disheartening.
Of all the issues related to some of their apps, I think this one takes the cake in terms of giving me serious incentive to look for alternative software. Each time I wake my laptop from sleep is a rool of the dice knowing if I will be able to go right back to work or not.
