Wake from Sleep resizes Ai windows and moves panels
M1 MacBook Pro, Mac OS 11.5.2. - AI 25.4.1.
Every time I wake my MBP from sleep, AI window is resized to half screen (horizontal) and all Palettes are whacked! all bunched in corner of screen, have to reset window size and reset palettes, every single time. Only AI does this, no other App.

If you have this issue again — please drop a comment (all but Phillip Byrne, who already made one). Does it still happens to you? Does waking your Mac from sleep makes your windows and panels move and resize?

commentedIt has not been eradicated. While it seems to be happening less often, it still happens randomly to me. Mac Studio M1 Max, macOS 15.5, all Adobe apps up to date.

commentedDespite this long-standing issue being declared "done" in July 2023, it's still happening. It's also happening with InDesign and Photoshop. MacStudio, macOS 15.5, all Adobe apps up to date as of date of posting.

Phillip, is it in the Beta or the GA build?

commentedWhy or how this issue persists with little to no significant update from Adobe is absolutely disheartening. Of all the issues related to some of their apps, I think this one takes the cake in terms of giving me serious incentive to look for alternative software. Each time I wake my laptop from sleep is a rool of the dice knowing if I will be able to go right back to work or not.

Jeff Wiggins commented Been having this problem for months with Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop. M1 Max Mac Studio with a Studio Display and LG Ultrafine 5K. Voting and commenting here so that hopefully Adobe will actually fix it.

John Malcolmson commented Seriously frustrating user experience to have to reset pallets multiple times a day. Yet not an issue with AE because why? Perchance all your tech now working on Figma?

David commented I have all my palettes on a second monitor and now have had to dock all of the palettes together so that I am only having to reposition it once (rather than every single palette) from my primary monitor back to my secondary after waking up, but come on Adobe. I shouldn’t have to reposition it at all. M1 MacBook Pro - current Ventura

Earvin Chen commented Same problem. MacBook Pro M2 Pro. It's really frustrating and wastes a lot of my work hours.

Charlene Adkins commented March 2023 using MacBook Pro M1 chip with up-to-date Ventura iOS.
There is a pop-up for Nick software that has repositioned itself so that I can’t get to the tool palette in Photoshop, and I can’t move the nik, so this is not just annoying. This is shutting me down.

commentedJust upgraded after 10 years of owning a 2013 intel imac which could only run Illustrator and photoshop 20. To my horror, my screens move in photoshop and Illustrator every time my computer goes to sleep. As you know this is a huge time suck and inconvenience in ones workflow. I see it's been a problem for M1 chip owners for 2 years. 2 years is a long time to not have a fix, hoping your team is figuring it out. Running Ventura 13.2 on a Mac Studio M1 Max on two external monitors.

commentedReally fed up with paying hundreds of pounds a year for broken software where the dev teams only seem interested in useless trick new features, not on solutions or improving UI/UX.

commentedJust to add another voice. I'm using a Mac Studio (M1 Max, Ventura 13.1) with a Philips 329P1H UHD monitor connected via USB-C > DisplayPort. This seems to happen exclusively with Adobe apps for me (browsers, MS Office all seem fine).

commentedFor those that have reported this... it seems Adobe isn't inclined to fix it unless they get a lot of feedback. Please tell all your friends and coworkers to report it as well. It's ridiculous that this has been a issue for so long.
