  1. Let an application be associated with its files

    Let an Application take control of its files at button press. After latest update Acrobat took over for AI files and it'd be nice to just press a button and fix it in Windows 10.

    Currently manually trying to and Acrobat is fighting it.

  2. Font auto-activation for fonts stored on local PC

    The CC 2019 update Activate Adobe Font function is brilliant, but it would be even better if it did the same for fonts on my own computer too

  3. CTRL + Spacebar = Zoom in and Out like Photoshop

    Not sure why this isn't the same between Photoshop and Illustrator but currently when you press CTRL + Spacebar in Illustrator you get a marquee tool to zoom into a specific location. This should match the zoom in and out function in Photoshop. Or, allow the user to change preferences to an easy check box to enable users to zoom in and out using CTRL + Spacebar like in Photoshop.

  4. Crash Report dialogue does not accept email address with hyphen

    Crash Reporter does not comply to email format standards. My email address contains a hyphen (nils.clark-bernhard@macio.de). Crash Reporter does not accept this address. Inserting a hyphen-free email address allowed me to send a crash report.

  8. export files from draw/ipad to illustrator/imac of a different account to allow collaboration

    I used to be able to copy drawings using the clipboard from my account to an iMac with a different account, but I am no longer able to do that and there is no other pathway to transfer the files.

    When a file server is mounted on the Macintosh desktop, it will slow down Illustrator considerably. Especially one on a wide area network.

  10. Allow custom color profiles to be saved to the CC libraries

    Creating CutContour swatch and Color Process colors (because Pantone+ colors are not available) lose their values once saved to CC libraries.

  11. Please enable the same live workflow that exists between Character Editor and Photoshop to Illustrator.

    The live workflow between Character Editor and Photoshop is magical. I can make a small tweak without having to relaunch each program. However, if the original drawing originated in Illustrator, you have to manually convert it to a Photoshop file, then replace the file anytime you make a revision, and close and re-open the Photoshop file, and be very careful to say "Don't Save". While it's nice that I don't have to do those steps in Character Editor, I would much prefer to have all three work together. Especially because Photoshop isn't doing anything in this workflow.   13. Please restore the facility to see the version of Illustrator files!

    It seems that in v 22.1 you have removed the facility to see the file version of an Illustrator file.

    Please restore this ASAP!!! It is pretty well essential to my work.

    The longer you delay, the greater the problem becomes for me.

    This feedback/bug reporting systems is super confusing. I have given up on reporting bugs or providing feedback so many times, cause I land here and I can't manage.
    I want to report a bug, it tells me to "post my idea". But I want to report a bug, not give an idea! I change sections to make sure I'm on the Bugs, still get "ideas" everywhere. If I try to give feedback I get "request feature", again, not what I want to do... That search box that changes to a form and back to a search box... If I want…

  16. Edit overlapped objects

    Some times when you use illustrator to edit PDF obtained from Cad programs, you get overlapped lines. It will be a good idea to have some filters to edit overlapped elements.

  17. Arrange all artboards reference point

    I don't understand which is the starting point of the arrange all artboards, I thought it was the 0 (zero) of the global rulers, but after the arrange all commands the top left artboard is not align with the rulers.

    Is there any answer to this or is it a bug?

  18. Restore previous default Stroke alignment to center, or add a preference option for default alignment.

  19. Increase MORE +++ the anchors points size. The actual option is not ENOUGH Is very difficult to work..

    The actual size options seems a joke, I work with 3ds max, and there you can select very easy the vectors points, in illustrator it is a Nightmare.

  20. SET OVERPRINT TO GROUPS OF DIFFERENT OBJECTS

    Second Time i have to adress this, Grouped objects, Set the group to over print, yet some of hte objects do not accept this setting as a group , only by ungrouping the mixed objects i can achieve a safe overprint setting, no other version before this one had this ERROR and its in fact dangerous to my worl as a finished artist when i can not trust my software to do what i set it to do.

    Please fix this once & for all

    Example, group various objects (excluding stroke) type box, vector objects of various sizes and shapes…
