2-finger track pad zooming glitch/delay on mac

Using 2-finger zoom with macbook pro track pad there is a major delay in Illustrator CC 2018.

    I have had no issues since resolving with Illustrator Tech. All is well!

    It might have something to do with layers panel/feature? When I turn all the layers off 2-finger track pad zooming works fine.
