Pressing keyboard arrows while 'Snap to grid' is on nudges art by two instead of one
I can't use keyboard arrows to move art around the document because AI almost every time moves art at 2mm instead of 1mm, which is set in preferences.
- Create document, e.g. A4, with units set as mm
- Set grid 10×10 — it's my mostly used grid, because I live in metric world
- Set 'Keyboard increment' to 1mm
- Enable 'Snap to grid'
- Draw custom-sized rectangle
- Press Up or Down several times and watch how coordinates change
Expected:
Rectangle's Y should go like this:
55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61...
Actual result:
Rectangle jumps like this:
55, 57, 58, 61, 63, 64, 66...
Same thing happens for X axis.
I HAVE to use Move dialogue EVERY time I want to nudge an object.
I make this so fast already that AI sometimes does not keep up with me.
I want to use arrows, please, fix them for me!

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.3.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

I have the same setup as Egor and I am running into a similar problem.
Although my situation is even more annoying, because my arrow keys alternate between moving the objects 1 and 2, so my positions are
10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 17...This is absolutely infuriating. How many years of bugfixes and $600 subscriptions are necessary to secure the incredibly basic function of positioning objects correctly?? Mindboggling.

The problem, Ankit, is that the bugs are cropping up faster than you can fix them. I don't know whose idea it was for the tools to move around all the time. It is essential that a worker knows where his tools are but you move them around randomly it seems. I can't find anything in my toolbar because they move or disappear then I go to add it back and everything shifts down a position so I'm lost again. The way the menus attach and collapse and connect to each other is maddening. Go back to how it used to be and get some actual artists to help you make the program work for artists not coders.

In my case, it mouve from 8 pts at the time ! My keyboard increment is at 0,0001 pts
It's same whene I us mouse, it mouve too mush, imposible to work like that. I re install my old Illustrator CS3 and it work perfectly. My Nvedia work perfectly (tested).The only way to fix that problem is to create with the ''transform panel (f 8) make mouve by number for the X and Y value...lol or the align panel whene I can.

Still not fix since décember 11, 2017 !!! Ho la la **** !
