bug: [PARM] error after changing stroke alignment
I clicked the 'align outside' button in the stroke panel and got this error.
I would keep popping op so I had to close AI.

I'm sorry Ashutosh but your comment "...we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here." is breathtakingly naïve, and is deeply troubling coming from someone who purports to work for Adobe in a technical capacity.
This problem has nothing to do with anyone's specific computer, and everything to do with a widely reported & prevalent bug in your software.
Not only have many, many people reported it on many different websites, but it's not even restricted to one operating system. It occurs on Macs AND on Windows PCs.
As I said in my previous comment, my fear is that with your "constant new whole-number versions no matter what" approach (just like Apple with their ludicrous annual macOS upgrades) all versions of Illustrator prior to 26.x have been abandoned, and will never receive any updates.
Can you contact someone in authority at Adobe and come back with a categorical answer to this? Will Illustrator 25.4.1 ever receive any updates or has it been "deprecated" in favour of 26.x?
Thanks

This bug only appeared (for me at least) in version 25.4.1.
My concern is that with the recent launch of version 26.0, no more work will be done on version 25.x (or previous versions) and this particular bug will exist forever in version 25.x.
If no more maintenance occurs on versions prior to 26.0, this is a problem for those of us who have no choice but to remain on macOS 10.14.6 (Mojave) for reasons of compatibility with other software, etc. We can't upgrade to version 26.0 as it requires macOS 10.15 or above.
Can someone from Adobe confirm that this (and indeed any other bugs) in version 25.4.1 will be addressed in a forthcoming update to version 25.x, and not merely be addressed in version 26.0?
Thanks

I'm getting the same error when I copy and paste an object. I also just got it when opening a document.
