There is not enough memory available to process the appearance of an object
MAC OS High Sierra Version 10.13.6
Processor 3.2Ghz Intel Core i5
Memory 8GB
Graphics AMD Redeon R9 M380 2048MB
Illustrator is CC 2019 23.0.1
When trying to work on an image, my colleague is constantly getting the above message and the application hangs.
Could you advise if there is a fix for this?

User reported this last night.
Freshly imaged with few carry overs other than Illustrator files from older versions.
MacOS 10.13 , 17G7024
iMac14,3 iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013) 16 GB 4 x86_64 2.9 GHz
Illustrator 23.0.4 , Enterprise ID
?Everymac says GeForce GT 750M, but the computer's off and I can't check it.? -

This. All the time now. I can't tell if it was because of a recent mac OS update, or because of the Adobe update. But I get this message all the time, illustrator becomes unresponsive and all of the menu items grey out. The problem persists with restarts and reboots. Very frustrating.
