Illustrator causing red screen
I'm using a MacBook Pro 15" , 2019 with MacOS 10.15.5 and Illustrator 24.2.
When I open a file in Illustrator it works fine until I open a second file. When I do this, a red border appears and I cant zoom or work with the file. I tried to delete everything which is installed with Illustrator (Also the .plist files) and tried to reinstall it but the same thing is happening again. Disabling the GPU in settings does fix this issue but using Illustrator on a high-end machine without it's full GPU power is worthless.
I also created a new user account and the issue seems to be gone with this. But I don't want to create a new user account, every time this issue appears.
Note: I did everything I've found here in the forum, so this issue seems to be back again :(

I struggle with this too! Its really frustrating I click the direct selection tool and everything turns red, I click on the selection tool and everything turn white. I also have turned off the gpu and it doesn't work. it never worked not even the f button. Please Adobe don't ignore this!

Happening on 2020 iMac with AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16Gb.
Catalina and Ai 25.0.1Disabling GPU helps, but that should not be necessary. This is a brand new system.
