Save for Displays: SVG export is extremly slow on Windows
I do have a file with around 100 artboards with simple icons that need to be exported to SVG.
This process is extremly slow on Windows on a decent machine. Every SVG takes about 3sec to save. CPU usage shown AI is running only on Core #2. The same file exports in seconds on my 8 years old Mac.

I find a - somehow really strange - solution: If I click in the export windows multiple times on the icons that swith between the large and the small preview icons (on the left sid under the list of artboards), than the export runs at fast as ****. I have absolutely no idea why - but this works for me ...

Same problem with me.
Same for me, exporting 100 artboards with elementary icons takes ages, if no crash occurs
+1 same for me; Export As using SVG is much quicker, but does not name the way I require
I have the same problem. It has been bad for the past about one year, but now it is even worse. The export of one Artboard is very fast, but as soon as I have two or more Artboards, it takes long minutes in which I can do nothing with it. Please repair this. I have to export sometimes more than hundred artboards, a couple or years ago it was very fast!!
Same. Program becomes non-responsive for the time it takes to export more than one. Export counter counts up, but its extremely slow even for simple shapes.

I can verify that this is indeed an issue on my windows machine (work computer).
If I select 1 artboard to export it is done straight away, as soon as I select 2 or more, there is an exponential increase in the time it takes to export each artboard.
On my home computer which is a Mac, it can export 16 artboards in a few seconds compared to about hour for the Windows machine. It was around 3 hours for 100 artboards or so.
Me too!! Please see my test case.
