Measurement of a clipping path object bug on PC (Illustrator 26.0.1)
I have a logo which uses a mesh gradient inside a clipping path. On my Mac the X and Y measurements relate to the object, ignoring the elements that are outside of the clipping path. When I share this with a colleague who is using the same version of Illustrator on a PC the measurements are different and relate to all the elements in the object and not just the clipping path? Any ideas?

Ges, to sort something out, the team needs A) file that misbehaves, B) screenshots of how it behaves for you and your colleague. No evidence — nothing to solve. So please provide some.

Thanks Lance,
I'll pass this on to my colleague. We are seeing numerous inconsistencies when we share from mac to PC in Illustrator. Measurement decimal points and rounding up/down all give different figures. very frustrating as we have a client who can't understand why things are inconsistent. Come on Adobe sort this out.

Ges,
I thought this might be the "use preview bounds" option in preferences>general, but it didn't have any effect when I changed it.
I am on Win10 and do not see the behavior you describe from your colleague. See screenshots.
When I clip a mesh inside a circle, and select the clipped object with the selection tool the size and X/Y coords are reported as that of the clipping object (the circle in this case)
When I select just the mesh with the direct selection tool, the size and X/Y coords change to those of the mesh object rather than the clipping object.
