Repeat-> Mirror grayed out after expanding symbols
I used the symbol sprayer to spray image symbols. Then I expanded the objects (until I couldn't expand anymore). I selected all the object and tried to mirror them but the menu item is grayed out. All the menu items under "repeat" are grayed out, except for "options...".

Also, I forgot to mention what version of illustrator I'm using. I'm using 25.4.5.I just reproduced the issue.
1. File->place a psd file.
2. Embed it.
3. Drag it to the symbol panel to create a symbol.
4. Use the "Symbol Sprayer Tool" to spray the symbol (Intensity:8, Symbol set density: 5).
5. Select the set you just sprayed and expand 2-3 times until you can expand anymore.
6. Select the set.
7. Object -> Repeat. All the options are grayed out. -
Can’t reproduce yet. After expanding sprayed symbols all the way down I am still able to convert the group I get into a Repeat object.
Perhaps it’s something with the symbol used?
Can you please share the text file with the one you used here in comments?
