New bugs in 27.6: Illustrator does not open File from Explorer; Recent Files not refreshed; Wrong Taskbar Caption
I experienced different annoying bugs fresh after the update to Illustrator 27.6:
- Double Click on a file in the Windows Explorer lets Illustrator start. But Illustrator does not open the file. It stays idle only.
- I opened a file (by dragging it onto Illustrator) and saved it as a new file (same name, but different location). When restarting Illustrator and trying to open that NEW file from the recent files list, it opened the OLD file instead.
- The Windows Taskbar Caption of Illustrator is messed up (see attached image).
I restarted the PC, uninstalled+reinstalled Illustrator 27.6, cleared all the settings. The bugs were still present.
With the previous version (27.5) these bugs are gone again.
Windows 10, latest updates installed.
Sorry, but this is not the reliability I expect from that "Adobe" I knew 15 years ago.

I don't have any explanation or other details for the 2 problems you could not see.
The release 27.6 disappeared short time after my bug report. So I think, you/we can close this case here for now.
