Selected Fill Color/Stroke is stuck to one color and won't change.
Hello! I'm using MacOS, and I'm on Illustrator 2026. When I was trying to change the fill gradient of my font, I ran into a glitch where the colors would not change. It's stuck to the original color I had originally. When trying to change the fill color, it changes on the interface but not when I draw. I've tried exiting out of Illustrator but it's still stuck. Even when adding text, it's stuck on black instead of yellow/any other color and it won't change.

Kristini, can you please show a screenshot of your Layers panel in this particular file (or share the file even)? I have a guess I want to check.
