Preparing for Save takes longer than actually saving
I have noticed that now illustrator does a "preparing to save" function with a dialogue box and progress bar before saving in the background. The issue I am experiencing with this is that the "preparing to save" step takes significantly longer than I ever remember a simple save taking. As such my routine save reflex is causing a significant disruption to my workflow. The time this "preparing to save" dialogue takes is far too long and incredibly inconvenient. Syncing to Drop Box
I am now having issues saving my illustrator files. When I try there is a notice that says "unknown error occurred."
I was told by customer service that Creative Suite now has issues with Drop Box and we have to save our files to "downloads".
This needs to be rectified. There has never been an issue with saving to my Drop Box before. Does Adobe plan to fixing issues?
Adobe and Drop Box need to figure out why this is happening.

When a AI file is opened and the fill color of some entities is changed, Save command is not available
On Several Files, I open the file, change five entities simultaneously to have a different fill color, the "SAVE" command under File is not enabled and the filename does not show the asterisks.

illustrator and PS is not sync with each other
When I tried to create a document and I have included an EPS file in photoshop. and after that, I modified the eps file it's not syncing with photoshop. it's asking for saving as in other locations.

There are standards that cannot be selected when saving PDF
I'm using Bigsur (not M1).
When I try to create a PDF in Illustrator 25.1, I can't select the latest standard.

Filename field no longer first in focus when saving

Used to be when I save a file (typically done from the keyboard) the save dialog appears I can start typing the filename I want to save, and the field is already in focus and placeholder text selected. Now I need to leave the keyboard to click into the field or tab several times to get the field in focus. SVG export
Export Artboards as SVGs doesn't seem to work in the latest update (25.2.1). I often export svgs and pngs together from artboards and have never had a problem until this morning when using the updated app. It exports the pngs fine but doesn't export the svgs at all. I reverted my Illustrator back to 25.2 version and it works fine. I have a computer with windows 10 and have not experienced issues with this feature before.

Black png
my png transparent images are showing up as total black images after export . They show fine for a few seconds and in the viewer window but the png it self is totally black. Works sometimes and others not I would say 2 out of 25 show up black.

Deleting Files V25.0.1 and V25.1
When saving, files will randomly be deleted, with and without error messages. There is no way to tell when this is going to happen, and the file is having to be recreated from scratch.

Every time I go to save, AI crashes and my new "Save As" document is empty (zero bites).

App will crash if saving with Cmd + S or manually saving from File-Save or File-Save As.

Illustrator won't replace existing PNG file; creates copy and adds "-01" to filename
When I update an Illustrator file and wish to export/replace the previous PNG file, Illustrator asks me if I would like to replace the existing file. I click "Replace". However, the result is a new file with "-01" added to the end of the file name. The old version still exists. Why bother asking me if I want to replace it if it insists on creating a copy?

Lag before you can edit a document name during "save as."
There's now a lag of a second or two before you can edit a title when you "save as" a document. It's super annoying if you have to resave multiple files.

Title tag in Illustrator Editable PDF is not updating on save with "Press Ready" setting
I notice this when I open the Illustrator pdf in Google Chrome, it is using a title tag within the pdf to display the title. If I save the file as pdf with the preset "Press Ready" as is optimal for preparing print files with linked bitmaps, this tag is not being updated and chrome displays the original title. Often I will make files from other files as templates and it will show the name of the original file, which is confusing for clients who see sometimes another company's name in their file name. DWG file won't display after Open... in Ai
Want to import and edit a DWG drawing that functions perfectly on Autodesk website file preview page. (I don't use Autodesk.)
All 67 layers and hundreds of sub-layers are listed on Layers panel and selected but Ai shows only a blank white page.
System is Dell AW17 laptop with nVidia 1070 graphics; Ai reports Intel 530 graphics card 'unsupported driver' on startup but I am not using it; Windows 10 and Ai fully up to date1 vote -

Pdf open in AI different than Adobe Acrobat Reader
Sometimes, when I open a pdf in adobe acrobat reader, everything is ok. Image is aligned correctly.
But, when i open same pdf in Adobe Illustrator, the image is not correctly placed in Artwork bounds.
- Work around to solve this: Object – Artboards – Fit to Artwork Bounds

Fehler bei Dateisicherung auf Netzlaufwerk
mit Adobe Illustrator 2020 konnt ich ältere Dateien nicht richtig im Netzlaufwerk speichern. Es hat ständig eine tmp. Datei erstellt und die Originaldatei hat sich nicht geändert.
Ältere Dateien konnte ich mit Illustrator 2019 auf dem Netzlaufwerk bearbeiten und speichern ohne Probleme.

paths missing in export
When exporting a vector image, some of the paths in my pattern fill are disappearing. It's weird because on the export panel it shows up fine, but when actually exported the paths are missing.
