1. Layer's not working - Bring Forward Not working

   I have tried various ways to get this graphic to show OVERTOP of the blue box. At first I tried just the "object arrange bring to front" and after that didn't work for some reason, I just used the layer panel. As you can see... even having the head on the top later OVER the bottom layer... it still will not show upfront.

   Using macOS Catalina version 10.15.6
   Adobe Illustrator 2021 Creative Cloud

3. Illustrator und Mac M1 funktioniert nicht zusammen

   Ich arbeite als Designerin und verwende Illustrator um die 4 Stunden täglich. Seid dem ich auf einen Mac mit M1 Prozessor umgestiegen bin habe ich folgende Probleme: Es dauert extrem lange das Program zu öffnen, Dateien zu speichern und Dateien zu Exportieren. Zudem hängt sich der ganze Computer regelmäßig auf, wenn Illustrator geöffnet ist.

5. Have to Ctrl+C and then Ctrl+V in Illustrator, before I can Ctrl+V anywhere else.

   I've had this problem for the past months (half a year-ish?). Figured it'd get patched out, but it hasn't.

   SO in order to copy something from Illustrator to any other program, I have got to paste it in Illustrator again first. So let's say I'd make a circle in Illutrator and I'd want to copy that to Photoshop, I'd have to Ctrl+C the circle in Illustrator, then Ctrl+V it in Illustrator again and only then I can paste it in Photoshop. If I were to Ctrl+C it and directly paste it in Photoshop without pasting it in Illustrator first, it'd just ignore my past actions and paste whatever I had on my clipboard before I copied the circle. If I would then go to Illustrator and Ctrl+V there, it still pastes the Illustrator shape. So it has two items on the clipboard?

   Now in the example I am explaining above that might not sound like a huge issue (and to be honest, it isn't a gigantic issue). It just gets really annoying when I try to copy big files. I have to convert package templates from Illutrator to Photoshop on a regular basis to make them look realistic. It's rather annoying to have to wait for the program to copy everything (which already takes a bit for bigger files, even on my workstation which was built for 3D). If I have to paste it again before I can work with it, it makes the copy paste process twice as long.

   I can work around it, as I have been doing so far. I just figured I'd had to make it known, considering I can't seem to find anyone else with this problem (the problem isn't very easy to Google either, due to the common search terms used to describe the problem).

6. Variable Data Not Working - Illustrator

   Hi - Is anyone else having issues with the Variable data tool? This week it doesn't seem to be working for me after a recent update.

   I'm trying to import a list of names to swap out for a batch of images.

   I've created my image, dropped in the line of text that will change based on the data and put that on a new layer. I then clicked "Make Text Dynamic" in the Variable window and loaded my .CSV file of list of names.

   The data set comes in, but it comes in blank. None of the names in the excel coverted CSV file come through.

   I've attached my CSV file. Anyone else having issues or what am I doing wrong that is causing this not to work?

7. Excessive fan and temperature in v21

   Hi. Upgraded to v21 from v20 when it was automatically available. I am on a Dell laptop 7501 with Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz and 40gb RAM. Since installing v21 when illustrator runs it constantly runs the fans up and CPU temp is generally above 80degrees, after about an hour the program crashes. All drivers are up to date. Switched back to v20 and no issues, no fan noise in operation and temp about 20degrees lower!

8. This operation cannot complete because there isn't enough memory (RAM) available.

   i'm getting this message "This operation cannot complete because there isn't enough memory (RAM) available." I have 64GB Ram and NIVIDIA RTX 3090GPU , it happens when I tried to rotate a shape that has "free from gradient" and inner glow effect with clipping mask.

   I'm using AI version (25.0)

10. Never ever change keyboard increments to 0,0028px

    I updated illustrator this morning, and without ever knowing that this could be a possibility...nudging with the arrow keys just seem to stop working. It was extremely annoying since it is kind of second nature for me to use it. So I scrolled through google, looked everywhere to know how and why this is happening. After a while, in the midst of working, I finally see that I could change the 'keyboard increment' back to my trusted 0,5 px. I am truly baffled why anyone would think it is a good idea to just change that to 0,0028? what would be the reason to do that?? Also, it really threw me off what I was doing today which was totally unnecessary.....Please don't do that again, thank you!!

    AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) responded

    There were several reports here and there about this parameter going to the minimum allowed value by itself.

    While this can be indeed a bug that happens for sure, another possible explanation can be the fact this value is the first one to be focused when Preferences shows up. I takes one gesture then to make it go all the way down, especially on Macs.

    This would have to be studied closely.

11. Illustrator crashing when mac goes into sleep mode

    Hello,

    I'm using Illustrator 24.3 on a brand new Macbook Pro.

    Several times a day it crashes. It seems to happen most often when:
    - my computer goes into sleep mode and I reawaken it

    Quite often it happens for no reason, even when I am using another program.

    I have spent a lot of time on the Adobe community page trying various solutions but nothing seems to have worked. I have 'problem reports' from the crash.

    Can anybody direct me to somebody who I can work with to try and resolve the issue?

12. 24.2.3 → 24.3 アップデートすると、一般の単位がptにリセットされる

    Windows10 / 1909 / 18363.959
    24.2.3 から 24.3 へアップデートしたら、環境設定の単位の一般と線でmmの設定が、Illustrator起動毎にptにリセットされてしまいます。
    設定ファイルの再作成を行っても、環境設定ファイル全体の再作成を行っても解決されません。
    解決出来ないので現在は24.2.3で使用しています。

13. 「戻る」「進む」を繰り返すとオブジェクトが消える

    　バージョン：2020。2020/9/4現在で最新のもの
    2：ショートカットキーで、「戻る」「進む」を何度か連打する
    3：データの巻き戻し等ができる
    4：「戻る」「進む」で変化があったオブジェクト自体が丸ごと消える
    　例）テキストオブジェクト「こんにちは」の「は」の部分に変更があった場合、テキストオブジェクト「こんにちは」自体が消滅します

    今回大切なデザインデータが消えて憤っています。便利な機能追加は有難いですが、デバックはきちんとやって頂きたいです。これは数人体制で1日デバックすれば分かるレベルかと。
    今後に期待しています。

15. Lines form while moving canvas

    Every time I move the canvas down using the hand tool or scrolling up, these weird horizontal lines of color like 1 pixel high drop like some delay previewing or something. It's not easy to explain.

    I don't experience this in any other Adobe program.

16. Crash on open/new documenti after window 10 update 4560960

    After 4560960 update, illustrator crashes on open or new document.
    Uninstalling update does fix it.

    Windows 10 home, all latest updates applied, happens on 10 machines, all different hardware.

    Not sure if illustrator or windows bug. For now delayed updates for a week, hoping in a fix soon.

17. The document "annoyingbug.ai" is currently getting saved. Try again after the process is complete.

    "The document "annoyingbug.ai" is currently getting saved. Try again after the process is complete." This pops up when you use save as while there is a save currently going on.

    This dialog box was removed when closing the document in 24.1.1. Can we also get it removed when using save as?

    Would be nice if the save as started once the current save is done like in previous versions.

18. embedded images cause longs delays in opening file illustrator 24.0.2

    When opening some files with embedded images, there are very long delays before the file finally opens.

    I have had success when I flatten the embedded image, it then opens fine.

19. Embedding multiple .psd files

    Embedding multiple .psd files no longer works in 2020. Previous versions would allow you to multi-select linked .psd's and embed them all at once. 2020 allows multi-selection, but only converts the first linked image.

20. Illustrator 2019- always making a selection

    When I want to use the application, illustrator decides it wants to draw a selection. If I reach out of the workspace to use the toolbars or panels, it will draw a selection from on the artboard to my cursor, as if I were clicking and dragging. If I click back onto the artboard to disengage the selection and try to use the panels, it will make a new selection from the point I clicked. This renders the program unusable. There is also a lot of lag when navigating menus, and the cursor will decide to stick to the scrollbars at the bottom if I use them, too. I have tried using a different mouse and keyboard to no avail. Attached are my system specs.
