  1. Editing path of “type on path” text freezes app

    Hello,
    I set up a type on path situation and wanted to edit the path that the text is locked onto. When doing so it freezes the app. As you can see in the video, after the app freezes (which is happening pretty soon into the video), I was still able to go to the tools and menus although nothing happened after selecting them.

  2. Freezes during comment tool tip

    The Submit and View Comments pop up tool tip appears every time I open a file for the first time. The app freezes and I can’t click okay. Have to force quit and reopen every time.

    I can not create a file on the ipad mini6, and importing from the files app also didn't work.

  4. Blending Elements with Gradients crashes App

    While connecting Circles with differently colored gradients to get a “worm”-like look, the app regularly freezes and eventually crashes, bringing me to the Home Screen. I use Illustrator an a IPad Pro 2021 11’. Unfortunately this mobile version of this website won’t allow me to upload pictures for some reason so I can’t provide further context rather than saying that I used the blending option “Distance”.

  5. I can't add colours to swatches panel as there is no + symbol

  6. Sudden freeze when zooming and weird pink panel appear on the screen

    I was opening a month old file only to find a bug on zooming function. Weird pink panel also appears on the left of the artboard area. After seconds the app suddenly close.

  7. Palm rejection needs to be improved

    Using the pencil tool is not as cool as it should be because my palms keep on making new points or undoing my work.it feels like every two steps forward is another step back.

  8. rounding corners - Ai changes values

    If I want to round corners by numeric input of diameter, illustrator changes the entered value. if I input 1mm, illustrator change to 3,285mm.

  9. Adobe compからのAdobe illustratorへの移行について

    iPad Pro(2017, 256GB, iOS15.3.1)でAdobe illustrator(iPad版)を使っている時に、文字挿入を行い、日本語で文章を打っていると（Apple純正のスマートキーボードを使用）、変換キーを押したタイミングで文章が壊れてしまいます。添付写真は、「変換した時に文字が壊れることがある」と打って、変換キーを押した場合の様子です。ここまで変換で壊れると、illustratorで文章をタイプすることは難しいです。

    今回AdobeのiPad版アプリ刷新を受けて、Adobe Compの代わりになるものを探していました。MacbookではIndesignを使用してDTP（本番環境）を行なっていますが、クライアントとのミーティングにおいて、イメージを共有する場合、Adobe Compを使用して議論してきました。

    Compからillustratorに移行困難と感じた理由は2つです。（1）上記の文章入力機能で変換のバグがある（テキスト挿入の挙動も安定しない）、（2）全体的に操作が遅い（特にプロジェクトを開くのに20-30秒はかかります）ことです。

    今回の刷新では、（1）Adobe scan&Adobe PDF readerの併用、（2）Photoshop&Frescoの併用などでも、Adobe compと近い使い方ができるので、Adobe compの公式ではillustratorとExpress CCへの移行を推奨していますが、実際は（1）か（2）の方がAdobe compに近いと思います。

    ただし、（1）（2）でも、DTPのような長い文章となると、かなりきついです。Adobe compは、もともとMac OSのinDesignにカンプを送信する機能があったこともあり、長い文章でも安定していました。Adobe compは文章を入力する上では貴重なアプリでした。

    Adobeさん以外のiOSアプリも検討し、実際にAdobe Compの代用ソフトになりうるのは、Miroさんくらいかなと思いました。おそらくMiroのスクリーンショットをAdobe Acrobatに貼り付けてPDF化するフローになると思います。

    もう一度Adobe Compのような軽量でパワフルなiOSアプリが出ることを期待しています。

  11. Text Box Deletion

    During regular workflow (double clicking to activate text, clicking outside element to close, and repeat) keyboard input seems to become faulty. Example: double clicking to edit text, making a word selection, pressing Delete will delete the entire text object, not just the selected word.

    If I cycle the tools a bit: click outside to close editing. Choosing Move tool, then choosing text tool, and going back into editing the text will sometimes resolve the issue.

  12. When moving Artboards, certain elements stick in place, out of position

    When moving an artboard, certain elements (type mostly) stick in place and loose their sync to the artboard. Sometimes, they snap back later, other times they’re just left wherever the artboard previously was.

  13. Artboard defined in centimeters doesn’t Mach the real measure

    I have created an artboard of 10cm. But it doesn’t correspond to 10cm to print. It gets only half the normal size

  14. Extra elements are in the layers that do not exist

    When I create a shape with the shape tool or pen tool.it shows in the duplicated layers panel but doesn't actually exist and cannot be selected or deleted

  17. Objects displayed but not showing in any layers

    I have drawn a fish and the fins are on a separate layer than the body. The fins are visible in the drawing area - or artboard - but they are nowhere to be seen on the layers. I have even turned off visibility for each layer! No clue where they’re at so I copied and pasted them to a blank layer. Still nothing. Cut and pasted them to a new layer. Nothing. Still can’t find them. Attaching screenshot. I have explored all layers fully to my knowledge by clicking the little arrows to make sure they’re not hiding anywhere.…
