keyboard crashes
When using the type tool and you tap the keyboard to bring up the keyboard it sometime crashes.

Even after REBOOT, can NOT click off layer and onto another one. Stuck on same layer.
No matter what I click, I can’t get to another layer on a specific document.
Edit: Removed the image I had imported and I could then move to different layers again. Imported the image back on a new layer, locked, and it’s working again.

Preview mode only shows outlines
I’m using iPad and the preview mode only shows outlines even though most objects are colored

Hi,
Please delete and reinstall the application and see if you are able to resolve the issue or not. Otherwise try delete some of the stale or not in use files from your cloud documents and try to open the document. Let us know if it works.

The pencil tool on the Illustrator App for the iPad becomes transparent at any line weight below 1 point.
A workaround that I'm using for now:
I opened up an older document with some pencil tool lettering that I had done before in .25 line weight. I copied one of the objects to my clipboard, then exited the document and went back to Home. I opened up my current artwork pasted it inside. As long as that bit of lettering is that last thing I select/click on, I'm able to go back to the pencil tool and it will open up with the same .25 line weight.If I switch to the paint tool or do anything else, and…

Stokes less than 1px are not working
I used to draw 0,3px or 0,5px strokes with no problem. Now it won’t let me go less than 1px.

Placing Images Slows Performance Noticeably
When using placed and clipped images in the file, it slows performance to a noticeable point. These are large size images in the range of 3-8mb. It shouldn’t be affecting performance that much.
Note: Latest generation iPad Pro M1 with latest iPadOS and latest Ai update.

Shape opacity leaves lines
When I draw a curved object and reduce the opacity there are visible dark lines.

Eraser issues
Eraser tool leaves fine lines especially on darker background. It is visible post exporting too!

Clip mask lines are visible even when exported!
I can always see lines of the clipping mask.

Mirror function leaves seam
I am using the mirror function to create a symmetrical logo. When I save the file there is a line in the seam where I mirrored.

Illustrator iPad won't let me put the hex # in for color
The Illustrator iPad version won't let me put the hex # in for the color I want. I can put a couple of numbers in and then it puts some zeros in front of the first three numbers and deletes the rest. Help!

After saving my doc and opening in desktop all changes were deleted.
I started a project on ipad... moved to desktop to make color edits and then moved back to ipad... made changes and saved... and I cannot find those changes anywhere in the cloud, recent docs, or on the ipad or desktop.

We’ve added new capabilities to the Export options in the latest update. Let us know if you’re still facing issues exporting to PDF.

Anchor point deletion in error
Tapping and holding an anchor point with the direct selection tool in order to move the anchor point is deleting the anchor point instead of allowing it to be moved.
