 commentedWhen a Circle is set to be a guide, the origin (center point) is no longer visible.
 This point is very usefull for a guide.
 Changing the Show Center attribute has no effect. Jan Vork

 commentedWhen drawing a smooth bezier anchor point, the control handles are initially equal in length. When adjusting the length of one of the handles, it would be of great help when the current angle could be locked with a modifier key. Otherwise it is allmost impossible to maintain the angle while adjusting the length of a handle. (at the moment this only works for the constrain angles) Jan Vork

 commentedFreeform Gradient does not work on a Compound Path (e.g. an outlined text or logo). Ai doesn't give any feedback on the problem, it just does not work. Jan Vork

 Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.Warm Regards,

 commentedSame here. Illustrator opens with all menus greyed out. Have to Force Quit. After starting a second time, it most of the time works.

 commentedWhen working on details / prepping parts (e.g. outside the artboard), Fit Canvas, nor Fit All are of any use. Fit Selection would be a nice extra. Jan Vork

 commented1. When adding to a curved segment, the new anchor points should be smooth, not broken. 2. Add a function to define the number of points added per segment. 3. Let the function work on a selected segment (it now always picks the complete path, adding points to all segments). Jan Vork

 commentedOnce in a while, when working on a geometric construction, I feel the need to keep Anchor points and/or bezier Control points visible all the time (in a sublte transparant overlay), even for unselected paths.
 This would be of great help for exact working on curves and when connecting paths. Jan Vork

38 votesBeta Build 29.6.142 now partially supports Gradient Tool snapping with Smart Guides enabled, but for the starting point only at the moment. Snapping to grid is not supported as well, and gradient stops won’t snap at all. There is no dedicated option for the tool to control the behavior as well. If you noticing anything else while testing this (please do!) — kindly make a comment. An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork

 commentedLet gradient control points snap to Anchor Points, please.
 In the curent version it is not possible to position Gradients accurately. Jan Vork

11 votesIt is possible to do in Illustrator as well — not in Preferences, but in File > Document Setup dialog (Cmd/Ctrl + Alt +P) — because these settings are local for a document and not global. Same exact controls. Jan Vork

@MJL in Australia
Since most printing techniques have far less color gradations available (a much smaller colorspace), it would be even better when (on top of the very welcome 16 bit mode), Illustrator Gradients had a scatter or noise option, to avoid banding.
