Hi,
If you want to switch the older control panel you can do that in 2 ways:
1. Go to Window > Control and the control panel will be shown.
2. Go to Workspaces and switch to Essential Classic, this will also show the Control panel on the top.Thanks & Regards

Hi Everyone,
All the effect checkboxes have now been set to ON by default, and are sticky (meaning that if you disable preview, on next launch of Illustrator preview will remain disabled). This functionality now is available in our latest release build – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.

We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for this feedback. This has been avialble since June 2020 release (version 24.2). Further, when you’ll select a single object/group, Align To setting will default to Align To Artboard.

I had this issue many times too , I have to use the real large format size because I need to export it to a Vinyl Cutter Plotter not an ink Printer , 8 or 10 Meter width signboard or vehicle or the front facade of the 4 doors shop is the case for me where I need more canvas space. Hope to see this feature soon :)

Yes Please
For many reasons
- final Illustrator designs doesnt end up only in web or print it goes also for installation ( styropor laser cut, Vinyl cut, carton . . . ) to be presented in spesific locations where the dimensions are everything for the designer and the client as well, like in events Graphics, point of sale materials, signboards, interior design, etc.......
without the measurments printed on the design a waste of time for the designer doing it manually or exporting it as EPS to PC system for Coreldraw please add the feature for ( TIME & ACCURACY )
beside what is actully the measurment tool doing there in tool box if it can not measer a triangles hypotenuse or show the result in print out ?
* since you have now properties panel it could be an Enable/disable, Hide/Show feature so not to bother those how dont need it without adding complexity new tool to the program
