We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 23.0.

Hi Everyone,
All the effect checkboxes have now been set to ON by default, and are sticky (meaning that if you disable preview, on next launch of Illustrator preview will remain disabled). This functionality now is available in our latest release build – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.

We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.

Hi Everyone,
This functionality has been shipped in June-2021 version of Illustrator.
The option "Paste without Formatting (Alt+Ctrl+V)’ has been added to the ‘Edit’ Menu.

Starting with version 29.3, Illustrator got the 'Embed permitted fonts for file preview' option in the Illustrator Options save dialog.
Currently it’s disabled by default, because there were multiple confused complaints on the changed behavior.
When missing in your current system, fonts will render as previews in the documents that were saved with this option enabled — it 'bakes' these outlines in. When we try to edit one though, we get a warning and the font becomes substituted, as before.

However, this is not 'Convert text to outlines on open' as we requested it. The option does not provide a way to do that for all the embedded outline previews, and Ai still doesn’t allow to select these at once. As stated in this request’s status update, the team had to temporarily revoke the 'Search for missing links in this folder' feature to make a way for the missing 'Apply to All' option when relinking, starting with version 29.2.
These two can’t coexist at the moment, and the team intends to come up with a better solution to allow both.

It would be nice if you could make a table grid like Indesign does. Works faster and easier than in Illustrator.

When choosing Type > Change case > UPPERCASE on Greek accented letters, the accents disappear
For example:
σπανάκι ψιλοκομμένο σε μερίδες
Illustrator: ΣΠΑΝΑΚΙ ΨΙΛΟΚΟΜΜΕΝΟ ΣΕ ΜΕΡΙΔΕΣ <- Wrong!
Indesign, Word...
