Hi Everyone, This feature has been available since August 2020 release (version 24.3). Please update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html Thank you for all the feedback.
You can now select multiple layers in Layers panel. Click the bars (they get highlighted blue) if you want to operate layers and not their content (e.g. to drag to reorder) or click their markers to select their content — circle (target ones) or square (selection ones) next to them. There is no real difference which to pick, but if you want to select a range of layers, using Shift, use target markers.

We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hans commentedI think it's only in GPU mode. If you choose "view using CPU" it disappears. Can this issue be fixed in GPU mode? Kind of annoying and CPU mode is way too slow for me.

Hi friends! I have some great news for your today. Rotate View (Canvas) feature is available in Illustrator 25.3 (Desktop) now. Thank you all for your feedback which helped us shape up this feature.
An error occurred while saving the comment Hans commentedAdobe come on. You have added slicing and other web/digital functions to illustrator that no one is using, but not rotate art board? This is crucial for illustration, typography and packaging design and Illustrator is the number one tool for that kind of work. This is more important than creating a mobile version of illustrator.
Hans supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Hans commentedAny updates? Not having this feature really sucks.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.2.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hans commentedI want to point out that this only happens when you have more than one document open at the same time. Weird!
An error occurred while saving the comment Hans commentedThis is the worst bug I've ever come across in Illustrator. Just WOW. This needs a fix asap.

Recolor now can be used for Freeform gradients correctly, allowing access to all colors used in it.
An error occurred while saving the comment Hans commentedHi Anish,
I found another bug with Recolor Artwork:
An error occurred while saving the comment Hans commentedThanks Lukas. Adobe, please see comment below!
An error occurred while saving the comment Hans commentedJust wanted to add that it works perfectly fine to recolor a gradient mesh this way so it doesn't make any sense that it does not work on a freeform gradient.

Hi Everyone,
Can you please provide a screenshot or step-by-step details of what you are trying to do. I ask because it’s working fine for me (see attached screenshot; it’s quite possible that I misinterpreted what you are trying to achieve). Could it be that the negative offset you are applying is greater than the size of the object. In that case, it won’t work. Otherwise it should.

The latest Beta 28.8.0.37 now has this function back.
You can enable the mode using a button in Control Panel or in Properties, with the Artboard tool picked.
The option automatically enables Scale Strokes & Effects option temporarily.
As always, you can hold Shift to resize proportionally.
Please test it and comment back!

Hello,
We have started working on the tech that allows us to enable the following:
- Ability to convert the outlined/expanded text back to live text.
- Ability to lock objects to a character/glyph of a live text, allowing users to change the text (properties) while the object stays locked into the character.
As we work through the complexities of handling different font families, font size, and other font properties, we would love to meet with you and share our thinking around it and understand :
- Your use cases and workflows that this feature will help you with.
- What is most essential for you.
- The workarounds that you currently use to achieve this.
