Hi everyone! Thank you for your feedback so far.
As we make progress, we wanted to hear your thoughts regarding the intended functionality of this solution. We are sharing two scenarios forproposed behavior of this functionality, please review these and let us know your feedback:
Scenario #1: The area calculation will only consider the path geometry of an object and not include the stroke weight as part of the computed area. To calculate the area of the stroke, the object can be Expanded so that a separate compound path is created for the stroke.
Scenario #2: Appearance-altering effects (e.g., Drop Shadows, Gaussian Blurs) that do not modify the underlying path geometry will not influence the area calculation. We will continue to calculate the area of the actual closed path.
We have also attached a visual reference for these scenarios to this post. Please let us know your thoughts!

Hi Everyone,
This functionality is available in our latest release build – 27.6.1.
Illustrator remembers the last preset used for saving PDF files and keeps it as the default preset.

Animated zoom works only in GPU rendering mode and won’t work in specialized modes like Pixel or Overprint Preview — they still rely on CPU calculations.

An error occurred while saving the comment Saving the file while working and being into Isolated group, exits the isolation mode, being quite annoying and counterproductive.
If you have a lot of groups and subgroups, editing editing on a high level isolated group and saving in the middle of work it's quite a pain ********** to go back and enter again in that multi level group. I don't remember having this issue with earlier versions as I do save a lot while working. -

We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.

The recently announced change pushed into Beta 28.6.578 refers to this similar request: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/35253820
The users can now use save custom presets within the Saved tab in the New Document dialog (modern one, not the legacy one). Please provide the dedicated feedback there.
As for the ability to change the existing predefined sizes for each document profile (Print, Web, etc,), like A1, A5, etc, — this is not yet available. Stay tuned and sorry for the misfire.

This is an area where many teams at Adobe are exploring ways to make it easier for users to discover and use fonts. Stay tuned.
An error occurred while saving the comment The Character panel is a pain ********** when you are searching fonts for an artwork. It would be cool and save us a lot of time if you could integrate some sort of font manager into this panel, so you could browse easily, so you could save preferred font list with the document (this feature would be really cool - when you open a file, it shows you a list of fonts to work with. If a font is missing then you are going trough the same process as with the fonts contained in the document).
Also, when you mark a font as Favorite, would be much nicer if you could mark a Style also. It's a painstalking job to choose a Style from a font that has a doezen of styles.
Also, a nice feature would be to allow custom folder grouping for fonts and style, a grouping that saves with the document. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Allow Tool Panel to be customized, or to create several custom Tool Panel and save them with Workspaces.
Also it will be great if one could position the Tool Panel Horizontally. -

Done in version 26 (2022). You can now use Tab and Shift+Tab to cycle focus while renaming layers and artboards (but not assets yet — vote to make it happen, https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/31567951). Yay!

Hello all, auto-find missing links feature is available in all the public builds starting V28.4. Please try out the functionality and let us know what you think!
In "Save Adobe PDF" option dialog box, when saving as pdf, please, remember my last Preset selection as I have to keep reselection "Press Quality", for example, every time, because it always shows the default "Illustrator Default" preset.
it would be a time saving not clicking two more times in the saving process.
