Hi,
If you will export artboards in any fractional scale or by specifying height and width you will get correct output.
The best way to not get an extra pixel is keep your artboard coordinates in integers. You can achieve that by changing the reference point of artboard to top left and typing in the nearest integer or do Make Pixel Perfect(Object > Make Pixel Perfect). If size of your artboard is increased please manage that accordingly and export.

It is not as straightforward as it may sound :) We have been working to take advantage of threads and other hardware such as GPU/Video RAM in places where it can make a higher impact. We are prioritizing areas that are slow instead of making a generic change and destabilizing the product. Product stability is the top priority for us and we have been consistently trying to improve it. We want to move with caution and make changes without compromising on the quality. Hope this helps.

We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 23.0.2

100000% agree with Jim Kopp below the gradient tool has been disastrous— inconsistently changing gradients on all unselected objects with the same gradient when editing the gradient of one object. also can no longer drag swatches in to the gradient panel to replace existing swatches. just adds them and then have to manually delete the original gradient colors. it used to snap and let you overwrite colors via dragging

It’s dangerous to call things Smart... When they behave dumb, the name sound like an insult. Sadly, this is the case.
Please provide more specific cases, with video proofs, ask you colleagues to share and vote, to move this further. This is the way to force changes to things that are broken — be vocal and persistent. Thank you all and let’s hope we get heard.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

Same issue here for several years now it's atrocious. Behavior is normal with smart guides off— but I always need them on!

100% Agree, even on a large monitor it starts eating up space quickly. I want all my panels and toolbars docked so they stay in place when I move the window, but it's so much wasted vertical space. Let us snap them vertically!
