  1. Shapes created in Photoshop should be paste as vector in Illustrator.

    Shapes created in Photoshop should be paste as a vector in Illustrator.

    After all Photoshop and Illustrator belong to the same family, So at-least we users expect this little ability to have this ease of use.

  2. "Replace" automatically selected

    Everytime I place an image I have to check if "replace" is clicked. If I have a picture selected and then "place", it means I want to replace it. Please fix this, it's very annoying and have been there for ages.

  3. Recent files list - right-click menu with "Open folder"

    In Illustrator (and also other Adobe apps): when the program is started but no document is opened there is a list with icons representing the recent opened documents. My suggestion: Add a right-click menu on those icons with an option to open the document's folder in Windows Explorer.

  5. CC Library Colour Applications

    Currently I can't find a way to select a library colour from the swatch menus.

    You can't use an eyedropper on cc library colours are not available from the swatches panel.

    It seems that we have to add the colours as a swatch first.

  6. Full stroke style capabilities in touch workspace

    The stroke currently only lets you adjust the size of it, you should also be able to control the style of that stroke, whether you want it to be dashed or the shape of it in the touch workspace.

  8. Increase maximum dashed line gap size

    Please allow the gap size to be completely variable. Right now max gap is 13.88". This feature would be useful for putting grommet marks on banners, normally 24" spacing but can be many different spacings (but not on the same banner).

  9. Export quality for EMF or WMF

    When exporting to emf or wmf formats to get editable vectors into PowerPoint the details in curves or small marks get all messed up. For example the details of a registered trade mark on a logo will be distorted or the curve of a letter o will become choppy. This is a huge issue for us and I'm hoping quality settings like the options provided for exporting and svg would fix the issue.

  10. Allow me to return to the interface that I've become accustomed to.

    I absolutely hate updating Adobe Illustrator. This new Illustrator interface update is infuriating. The workflow that I've developed over years of working with this product is broken. I don't understand how anything works and I spend more energy wrestling with an interface that a just a short while ago was transparent to me than I do in the actual creative work that I am paid for.   11. CC subfolders not visible when opening files

    Currently if you organise AI. iles into project folders within your local CC folder, these subfolders aren't visible when opening in AI. Libraries offers the ability to categorise assets / files into project folders that are visible making it super easy to find specific files. I know there is a search feature but, with hundreds of assets, being able to have multi level folder structure visible when opening AI files from local CC folder would be awesome.

  14. Master Illustrator File Placed in Multiple Illustrator Files OR Export Selected Layers Palette

    In my line of work, we often time work in one single Illustrator file that has one basemap then multiple layers with each showing a specific thing separate from the other layers. However this gets tedious when exporting files where you have to select the layers you want, export as it's own name, deselect those layers and select the next batch of layers, export those under their own name, deselect those layers etc.

    What would be great is if Illustrator had the ability to have something like a Master Layer that can bring in a basemap Illustrator file to have…

  15. Illustrator - PDF Export Cropmarks

    Illustrator really needs a usefull cropmark export option in the pdf export dialougue. just like InDesign. I mean it looks similar to InDesign but its simply not working! who needs cropmarks up to 15 mm long?? why cant i edit the length, width.. etc?. Please make this function usefull!! asap

  16. Support single one line fonts

    Hi,

    I have tried Illustrator to design name tags to engrave on our engraving machine. Unfortunately single line fonts, which are essential for some engravings, isn't working properly. Bought them from onelinefonts.com and they are working flawless in most other apps, but none of Adobe's so far.

  17. Please bring back the slider for the gradient angle adjustment!!!

    There used to be a slider for the angle adjustment of gradients. It was great because I didn't have to know the angle or the direction in numbers, (which designers are notoriously bad at, by the way) I could freely adjust the angle based on how it looked. The way it is now, with a textbook and a dropdown menu, is so much more work and SO FRUSTRATING. I don't want to have to type in increments and figure out if I need to make it a negative angle.
    PLEASE GIVE ME THE SLIDER BACK!!!!!!!!!

  18. Refining pressure sensitivity

    Just like pencil drawing refining.
    Using tablet, I would like to redefine stroke size with pressure sensitivity when using brushing tools on a selected line.
    After the first brushing, it only modifies shape not brush size.

    Please I'm waiting this for a long time and I'm so surprised it still does not exist.

  19. Autosave ON Visual indicator

    A visual indicator in the application frame that Auto Save is still activated/on. When dealing with complex files auto save is turned off, and stays off. A visual indicator that it is no longer on would be helpful when working in a new file that it needs to be turned back on.
