How can ilustrator 2019 not automatically save data?

Is there a possibility to activate (highlight/select) layer by clicking on the Eye icon in AI?
Is there any setup I can do in AI that when I click on the EYE icon at the Layer, the layer is getting selected by that? It is very inconvenient for me to open the eye and then the layer again to activate it...

Add and option to contain grid within / outside artboards
Allow the GRID to only be on the canvas, allowing the outer space to be used at the same time for element while building a projects. ALSO allow a slider to dim down the lines and a line width slider for the lines. This way its fully customizable for the user.

Convert expanded strokes back to live strokes (unexpand / unoutline strokes) / Find centerlines
So far there is no way to de-expand strokes back to live strokes.
The suggested practice is to cut the shape in pieces and blend pairs with 1-step blends, expand and join manually — a tedious solution. We have to keep strokes alive as long as possible if we plan to edit them after. The effects we can use to make an art non-destructive are quite limited.
We now have cool Reform plugin by AstuteGraphics that allows to edit expanded strokes in a different way, but is does not solve the original problem and only helps to workaround and offers…

Display Measurement Labels when Snap to Grid is on
We can enable Measurement Labels in Preferences > Smart guides, to display a drawn line’s length, or width/height for shapes, or distance for moved objects.
Cool.
But once you enable Snap to Grid, labels stop being displayed.
I get it, Smart Guides stop work in terms of snapping and actual guides rendering, but why ditch labels? We still draw and move, and it’s maybe even more important with snapping on!15 votesThis is fixed in the latest Beta Build 29.5.0.15 — now the measurement labels are displayed when both Snap to Grid and Smart Guides are enabled. Jointures Multiples/Multiple Joins
Je souhaiterai pouvoir sélectionner de multiples points avec l'outil sélection directe et que la commande joindre (Commande -J) fasse la jointure pour tous les couples de points ayant même abscisse et même ordonnée.
Ce qui motive ma demande est que je récupère des fichiers générés par des sites web où chaque segment est isolé. C'est problématique soit pour ajouter un fond, soit pour avoir une découpe plus rapide et plus propre sur ma découpe laser. Select Same / Position on artboard
An option that can be added on the Select Same menu that could be useful for selecting elements that hold the same position on each artboard. Could be useful for page numbers, titles, logos, watermarks etc.

Japanese characters in Japanese fonts are misaligned in Vertical Text Alignment
Starting with v24.3, vertical text alignment is now available. This is a great feature we have been waiting for. However, characters in Japanese fonts are misaligned at the center and bottom, as shown in Figure-1.
This is probably due to the fact that the bottom edge of the character is used as the baseline.Maybe we need The Last Baseline option.It's a tough road. But the Illustrator team can make it happen, I am sure of it.

package font-family instead of font
Sometimes I need to adjust the font style in font family like Helvectica Neue Light, Condensed, Regular and so on, However now the illustrator only makes the package the font which have been used. That means when I get the package, I only can have one font in the font family only.

Line Segment Tool to respect selected Graphic Style by default
Currently, if I have a certain Graphic Style selected, it gets applied to objects created with Pen Tool or all shape-drawing tools (Ellipse, Rectangle, Polygon, Star).
This doesn’t work this way with line-drawing tools (Line Segment, Arc, Spiral, Grids…). Or rather it does, only if the “Fill Line” option is turned ON in the Tool Options window. It is turned OFF by default though AND this setting is not sticky between sessions.
So with every new session, I’m back to behavior when a chosen graphic style is not applied to an object drawn with a Line Segment Tool.2 votes -
Make Global Edit work with parts of compound shapes
When you use Direct/Group Selection tool and select a part of compound shape, that you know exist on canvas, you expect Global Edit to see them too and allow you to edit these copies simultaneously — but no, Illustrator does not recognize them.

Better Action Set Organization in Illustrator
We have a lot of Actions but only a few are needed at a time based on the workflow you're currently in. It would be great to have the "for the moment" unutilized actions hidden when in button mode. Action Sets functioning like Libraries while in Button Mode without having to delete and then reload is not a good way of going about this.

Replication tool .. Replication tool is not easy enough to use .. Excuse me for mentioning the old Freehand but it had a very easy to use replication tool .. which would just select the shape and set how many times to replicate it and with mouse movement it was easy to make shapes like mandalas Beautiful and psychedelic shapes or anything that needed to be duplicated in a circle easily ... I would be very helpful if there was such a duplication tool as there was in the old software and I would use it a lot

Dynamic outline (as an effect?)
I really wish we could have a dynamic way to create outlines for strokes (with arrowheads in particular) without having to 'break' them into shapes first.
It could be an effect, for example. And yes I have tried the existing 'Outline' effects but the do nothing (or am I not using them right?).

I would like to use the old extrude and bevel feature
the new 3D & Materials feature does not have the same little cube you could manually adjust the perspective on, and instead it is much more tedious having to enter the numbers
I also found it easier to get out a vector version rather than the image it likes to output now

階層が複雑なデータを作っているときに「ポイントにスナップ」では自分の意図していない部分にスナップすることがあります。
「ガイドにスナップ」を追加してガイドだけにスナップする様に出来ませんでしょうか。

Sharing a Batch of Files for Feedback & Review
The new 2022 features include the ability to share a single document and get feedback within the CC software from other contributors on any internet browser. Please add the ability for users to share multiple files at a single time. I need to be able to send a batch of files for review.

Autogenerate designs with Adobe Sensei?
What if Illustrator had the ability to autogenerate versions of a design using Adobe Sensei technology? Imagine that you are going to design several banners of the same design in different sizes. Instead of designing each individual banner, one could simply click on a button that auto-generates versions in all the different sizes needed. This will help streamline the design process and eliminate time-consuming manual tasks.

ダイレクト選択ツールについて
ダイレクト選択ツールでオブジェクトの上からアンカーポイント以外からドラッグでアンカーポイントを選択したいのですが、オブジェクトが移動してしまうので使いにくいです。移動しないようにしていただきたいです
