drag copying artboard causes hidden items to reappear
Whenenver I drag an artboard to copy it, anything hidden on the original artboard is now visible. Very annoying.

Duplicated artboards containing Export Assets link to the new artwork not the original
As the title says, Assets in the Export panel move from the original artboard and become linked to the new artwork on the duplicated artboards. Subsequently when you remove any artwork from the new artboard, you inadvertantly remove the asset from the Export panel.
Methodology:
Duplicate an artboard (which contains an asset in the export assets panel) via the Alt-drag method. Ensure the move/copy artwork option is enabled. Delete the new copy of the artwork/asset on the new artboard, and the asset is removed from the export panel.Expected behaviour:

Align to selection bug
This only started recently - the past month maybe? If I select 3 or more objects and have alignment set to "align to selection" and then click the Distribute Spacing icon, Illustrator will default immediately to "align to artboard" and space the objects out across the entire artboard instead of the selection.
If I undo (Cmd Z) and then go through the process again (I have to reset the alignment preference to "align to selection" first, however), it works fine, but every time without exception I have to go through this process.
As mentioned, this only started to happen recently.

Why can't I select and deslect multiple layers with shift& alt anymore?
Oh this drives me crazy,... I suddenly can't select multiple layers by holding down the shift key. And deselecting with alt isn't working either.
Does anyone know how to solve this because I can't work this way.
I already restarted, did an extra update, nothing seems to help.5 votes -
Panels, windows not updating or displaying correctly
Finding this bug a lot recently. Basically I will be working in a file and the tool panels won't display, you can right click and see the the pop ups but nothing appears. likewise if you have two or more documents open and switch between them, the screen stays the same. It says I'm on the new document but it doesn't change. the only way to fix it is to close and restart the program. I also get it with photoshop. both at work and home. An unknown error has occured. Receiving message when opening ai and/or pdf files. CC 2019
I'm working on iMac17,1 with 13.2GHz using illustrator CC 2019
Whether opening a file from finder folder through the program, via file > open I am receiving the same message when opening ai and/or pdf files: " An unknown error has occured. "
This is all of a sudden. I expected the files to open like they normally would, unless it was a corrupt file from a client.
I receive: " An unknown error has occured. "
I uninstalled and re-installed CC 2019 with no changes.

Convert to profile
It should be possible to convert a documents colors via the same method as in Photoshop or InDesign via "Convert to profile" rather than "Document color mode". The current way makes it hard to correctly convert correctly and nearly impossible to convert an rgb color space to another rgb color space without using cmyk as intermediary step (huge color shifts and color quality loss).

Illustrator Recovery-Mode has Turned all my Images Black
I was in the process of saving my original Illustrator file and it froze then crashed, I re-opened the software and it recovered the document but all my images have turned black.
And it's not a links problem, most images are embedded and I have a separate links folder containing the remaining linked images, as you can see there are no missing links.

Coordinates of an object are not aligning to it's artboard and are staying global
When I try to align objects within an artboard the objects coordinates stay Global and don't change, which makes it impossible to do branding and logo design work. It only started / became a problem when I started using the latest version of the software - Illustrator 2020 (Mac). Urgently need this fixed so I can get clients work done and send away.

There is not enough memory available to process the appearance of an object

I'm getting an error message (There is not enough memory available to process the appearance of an object) when I open a file or create a new file in Illustrator. After I close the document, everything in illustrator gets greyed out and I have to force quit to close illustrator. I have to repeat this open and force quitting several times before I could get a document to work as normal. Could you please advise if there's a fix for…

Moving an artboard using the Artboard Tool moves non-overlapping paths and shapes in adjacent artboards
Moving an artboard should only move paths and shapes within the artboard and paths and shapes overlapped from other artboards. If possible, overlapped paths and shapes should only move if a majority is in the selected artboard.

With GPU acceleration on, click on rule when an art-board is under this rule, the art-board becomes active.
No problem if GPU is Off.
- Create a document with 2 art-boards,
- Show rules and switch to art-board rules (Display/Rules/),
Click on a rule when an art-board is under this rule, the art-bord under the rule become the active art-board. This is not the expected behavior.
On the other hand, the behavior is correct when GPU acceleration is off.1 vote -

also with emf export it has to be scaled up 1000 times to look good...

Black bars - buggy redraw / tearing on window scrolling
Black bars appearing when hold down SHIFT and DRAG to scroll.

Rearrange All Artboards ignores locked layers
When I use the command Rearrange All Artboards from the Artboards panel object on locked layers are not moved with the artboard.
To test make a document with two artboards and two layers. Draw anything on Layer 1 for each artboard them copy it exactly to Layer 2, or just duplicate Layer 1. Hide or lock a layer then use Rearrange All Artboards to rearrange the dartboards. The objects on the locked or hidden layers do not move with the artboard.

macOS Mojave-10.14.6 / Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator CC 2019
Though item on art board is activated by selection tool it shows no indication of being hi lighted. There are no corner control buttons and no outlines on the perimeters of object. I see no reference to the situation in the menu.

Multiple DXF conversions overwrite other artboards
On my iMac with OSX Mojave.
If I import 2 dxf files for conversion and leave their tabs available, the next to be imported overwrites the second tab placing the image on top of what is already there and then proceeds to open the 3rd tab with a blank Artboard.
In the attached screenshot, the overplayed image is with red lines, the original image on that tab is in black lines
