Arrow keys not working

Quitting and relaunching 23.0.1 brought the arrow keys back to life after they quit working for no apparent reason.

******** doesnt work. no arrow keys just like the rest of the poor sons of *******. Adobe blows little kids.

Same issue here. It worked fine for a couple hours, then suddenly stopped working.

I'm having the same issue. I don't have time for this. Is there a workaround.

This new version is killing me. If your goal was to improve efficiency, you failed. I feel like I'm running a marathon with a cinder block tied to my leg. Why would the factory setting for nudge be set at a ridiculously imperceptible number?? Why do some menus not show up when they should? (like the drop shadow attributes from the appearance menu which blinked briefly and just went away). When I attempt to rotate an object (I type R for the rotate tool then hit the enter key) why is the rotation degree cell not hi lighted and ready for me to type? Why do I now have to click on it first or hit tab 5 times to cycle through the cells? The list goes on as I continue to uncover other strange issues here and there...

Also experiencing sporadically this issue, extremely annoying and random...

Same here. Arrow keys won't move anything. Changed the increments in preferences.

I had the same problem. I restart my computer several times, but no luck. It's frustrating not to be able to use them when you're working on a project

I had a similar problem. the arrow keys stopped working (nudge). I changed the increment, but no effect. Had to close the program and restart it.

Illustrator build 23.0.1 on Mac here, arrow keys do nothing. I already restarted illustrator and reset the increment in the prefs.

Same problem here. Arrow keys not work.

Illustrator would not open my files correctly and was telling me my Vector plug-in could not be found and to update the program. So after basically being forced to update now the Up, Down, Left, and Right arrow keys do not work. This issue is very frustrating especially when im encountering problems when i didnt even want to update in the first place.

I was still having this problem, even with the most recent update, but Filippo Andriollo solved it! Keyboard increments for me were set to 0.000002". A quick but frustrating fix.

I think I've solved!

Go to "Edit > Preferences > General" and try to change the "Keyboard increment" (first parameter). Mine was set to 0,0001 px and this value makes it not working with the arrows and the shift key.
